  • Like "She Purred While I Grrred," this song makes me want to be a very naughty girl, indeed.

  • Is this song about what I think it's about? exhibitionist oral sex?

  • I wish music stayed like this.

  • The fuck does being gay have to do about anything? Just enjoy talent. Jesus.

  • @suavechap7 Agreed. Not really sure what has to do with it either!

  • Finally...a song about oral sex that don't suck.

  • saw them last night , amazing

  • *eargasms*

  • i f...in love his voice

  • Still got this song dancing in my ears...

  • Ahh! En el corona estuvieron imponentes! Was amazing! The best show in corona capital 2011!

  • this has got to be my favorite song.

  • saw them at Glastonbury and loved them. Booked for Manchester Catherdal. You're right. they are fabulous and cross over different genres. The closest to their voices are The Associates from the 80's. Billy Mackenzies voice was very high and similar. But unfortunately, their 80's production isn't up to the Wild Beasts. Great tunes though and well worth a delve. Look out for Party Fear Two and Club Country for starters. both should be on Youtube. Take it easy!

  • Paredes de Coura 17/08/2011! The day I fallen in love with Hayden Thorpe

  • angelic xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • saw them in san fran outside lands whoo!

  • Saw them at the 9:30 Club in D.C. on Friday. Had a great time!

  • wooo. SPLENDOUR. WOOOO

  • 52 yrs old an' think this bloody fantastic, not gay either!

  • @59nazareth that is the funniest thing I've read for a few days

  • @59nazareth I am 40 and feel the same

  • @59nazareth i',m sixty and not gay either,i mean it realy,not at all,never thought about it,no way,forgetaboutit...

  • not 2 every1s taste, i fuckin love it.

  • Not terrible, I don't think operatic ambient/post-punk is exactly much of an exciting development though.

  • Can't believe I've just found this band when I've lived in Leeds for ages. =.=

  • spot on...

  • Everyone took all the good comments.. guess thats what i get for being a year late lol

  • this song makes me want to die and be reborn. Fucking epic.

  • reminds me a bit of Arcade Fire. great band, nonetheless.

  • Not so into the video but one of my favorite songs but by one of my favorite bands ever... beautiful

  • Best Song Ever, as of this morning(:

  • The first time I listened to this song I hated it. Now I just can't get it out of my head.

  • @carmarjimenez Exactly the same lad!

  • I think Thorpe's voice has improved with the second album

  • glastonbury 2011.

  • have you noticed? read it:

    "the moonshine plays cheap tricks"

"don't be fooled by the moonshine, it's tricking"

    the best lines ever.

  • this band needs to be so much bigger than they already are. They provide movement and influence from numerous bands that have already impacted the musically intellectual part of our world. Why aren't bands like this huge, please: LIKE THIS VIDEO AND GET THIS BAND "ROCK'IN AND ROLL'IN!!!!!!

  • Beautiful... Gives me shivers. Amazing band, epic song.

  • absolutely astonishing band really original

  • the two voices in this band never cease to amaze me, unlike anything I've ever heard before.. and live this song's beautiful

  • Comment removed

  • masterpiece

  • Whenever I have to do any sort of artwork, or creative writing, Wild Beasts are by far the best to listen to.

  • there's nothin' wrong with just a little fun, we still got the taste dancin' on our...

  • this band found it's way on my top 5 favorites list after i found out i can never get tired of or over play the Two Dancers album.

  • first time I saw them live was bliss, one my favorite bands ever. but then I went to get a lift home from my nest door neighbor and ended up sitting next to the drummer as his girlfriend of his daughter unable to speak. mortified.

I should have been okay, seeing as I went to the same school as them, but no.

  • first time I saw them live was bliss, one my favorite bands ever. but then I went to get a lift home from my nest door neighbor and ended up sitting next to the drummer as his girlfriend of his daughter unable to speak. mortified.

  • im obsessed with the beginning

  • saw them live in San Francisco last summer. Stand out band, amazing performance. :)

  • Sounds like Miike Snow to some degree

  • Yes Obelix it is perfect to listen it in adark room, ESSENCE of your soul and flouting with the music, but also they 'save me' then a I heve to work and they make a great experience to have a soundtrack when I have to write, create and love

  • This made me so happy. You don't even know.

  • Sat in a dark room, listening to wild beasts. Perfect

  • More fuckers lying on their FUCKING BACKS thought that turd group snow patrol did enough of this nutty shit

  • @misanthropekill97 Yeah, and when all those other bands stand up, so not original. AMIRITE?!

  • Looking for this for months now, thankyou Radio 6 I finally found the name of this song.

  • Saw them live in Exeter back along. Got attacked by a dwarf and his girlfriend...

    This song is addictive.

  • this band is sick. Been a fan for about 6 months now and they have become one of my top 3 favorite bands.

  • this song is good sex. so replay replay replay

  • I'm in awe...their lyrics are so quirky yet poetic.

  • Phoenix Dance Theatre are using this track plus other wild beasts music for a new Arieal piece called 'Melt' in January.

There is a video posted on you tube. check it out. BoplvuyNWTs

  • @PhilSanger That sounds like it would be AWESOME. This song is already goosebump-inducing, but add aerial performance to that... I feel like crying with emotion just imagining it.

  • @CalandrielAurealin

We had the premiere on wednesday this week. The Wild Beast actually came to see us and really loved it.

They said is was a beautiful response to their art.

We are on tour now, maybe we will be somewhere near you. You should check the phoenix dance theatre website for tour date

  • The beginning sounds like Stacy in the Jungle. Ooow Owoo Oooh.

  • how the fuck do I put this song on continuous replay?

  • This whole album is just mesmerizing.

  • bit magical this, is this heaven?

  • Am I out of line when I say this sounds like the offspring between Muse and Coldplay? Great stuff.

  • @ldleworker I would say...Matt Bellamy and MGMT on heroin, ;)

  • This song is amazing. My friend got me into this. Anyone know anymore bands that sound like this or other good songs from this band?

  • @viKtorK Yes, the whole album (Two Dancers) is amazing. I haven't stopped listening to it for two months and I'm still not bored of it. Their previous album is a little more erm ... 'creative', but Brave Bulging Buoyant Clarevoyants, The Devil's Crayon and His Grinning Skull are every bit as good as anything on their second album. They are a very special group.

  • I love american music but seriously when it comes to bands

The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Small Faces, The Kinks, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Clash, The Jam, Joy Division, The Stone Roses,

I will stop there, I have made my point

  • @fancythathat I was just thinking yesterday that we don't have an American Beatles, Pink Floyd, and whatnot. Something must have truly been in the water in the UK.

  • Cool voice!

  • xx cunts

  • @bobizme11 they're both great in their own rights...how dare u....just because a mojrity rule caused the xx to get the mercury (the WELL-DESERVED mercury since they in my opinion have more talent than the wild beast could ever dream of) doesn't make them " cunts". In fact ur comment makes u a cunt....appreciate both bands for their equal and different talents...cunt

  • @empressnaj813 I completely agree with you about the use of the 'c' word ... maybe he/she was being deliberately tongue-in-cheek, I don't know ..... but I'm personally enjoying the second Wild Beasts' album much more than The XX Mercury prize winning one. They're not lacking in talent. I really love certain tracks on XX in the way that I love certain tracks on the first Wild Beasts' album (Brave Bouncing Bouyant Clairvoyants in particular) ... but WB's second album is a particularly strong one.

  • idk if its just me...but many bands from the UK seem to be more...unique among themselves? if that makes any sense..typically i enjoy their music more.

Now there are bands like Explosions in the Sky that i find hard to believe are from the States, but glad we got some talent:p.

  • definitely deserved the mercury.... i found this album far more enthralling than the xx album...

  • @mercmcguirk Such is the nature of opinion.

  • @PERSONIFICATIONOFYAY

i agree wholeheartedly... still a rad song regardless!

  • @mercmcguirk aah Idk I like them but the XX album was amazing..

  • I love the melodies and the vocals, but I can't understand why it hasn't gotten any traction stateside at all. Can anyone enlighten me with something more than "They suck...?"

  • @MrJuggrnt1 I think they are too refined for america. I mean, it's very artsy. I am basically american btw. And love them.

  • @LimenSpirit No they love America, they get appreciated there more than in the UK. They love the states!

  • @water4sure oh, but the conversation was about America not loving them as much as they deserve.

  • @LimenSpirit America is so diverse. What parts? east coast, west coast? and so forth.

  • god I love this song.

  • They were robbed. This gets better every time you hear it.

  • i wish i could find this as amazing as the rest of you do...

but i'm just not feeling it :/

i adore your passion for the music though<3

  • eh TUNE!

  • What's this warbling wingebag singing about now?

  • This song is beast. no pun intended.

  • This @ Leeds Fest = <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 in fact no, Wild Beats @ Leeds Fest = no sign can describe how good.

  • I'm 25 years old. I take great pride in just how many genres of music i have delved in. But the Wild Beasts are unlike anything I've heard. Every word impeccably placed in each beautiful harmony (NOT SONG.HARMONY!) . And the true beauty of this group? They're officially the first group that make me want to lose myself and just sing with them all the fucking time. This is, however, knowing, that i will never compare to this magnificent blessing Hayden Thorpe has received in the form of a voice.

  • @karkariafarhad I have read a lot about this band but I have never read as something as eloquent as this! This is brilliant!!

  • @karkariafarhad Fuck off

  • Anybody else finds this song highly sexual?

  • @karkariafarhad

Look The Irrepressibles "I this shirt". F**** awsome

  • Saw them at Lollapalooza. They were so good even my dad liked it.

  • I just saw these guys a Lollapalooza and they were one of the better bands playing (I liked Grizzly Bear a little more). I really hope they become more popular because they definitely deserve it.

  • Saw Wild Beasts at The Empty Bottle last night and couldn't have been more mesmerized. They're amazing. Go see them!!

  • I really like these fellas.

  • Saw them at Latitude...can't wait to see them at at Bestival! One of the best gig's I've seen in yrs.

  • Saw them at Lovebox. Amazing..

  • Saw these guys live yesterday at oxegen. AMAZING.

  • I think they need a new music video director...there is so much more that they could have done to match up to the awesomeness of this song!

  • Reminds me of last winter.

  • this sounds like hot chip...

  • @AnimeGR Yea? i cant wait to see Wild beasts in concert with hot chip! they're both playing at outside lands.

  • Hey did any UK fans take any footage of the WIld Beasts in Glastonbury? If so, would love to see it!!

  • @water4sure

they showed them on tv but not on the iplayer sadly

  • you know who this sounds like?? the wild beasts.

  • This doesn't sound like Arcade fire you musical idiots.

  • this sounds nothing like Arcade Fire.

  • Their music hypnotizes me..♥

  • How did I not know about this song? It's immense! Possibly one of the best songs I've ever heard!

  • OH FUKIN SHIT!!!! THANK YOU FOR THIS SONG ENTERING MY LIFE...ive still got the taste dancin on my tongue

  • favourite song on the album

  • seriously the fucking descriptions in all the dominorecords videos of WB's new songs are ridiculous...a tale of insatiable lust, full of twisted bawdiness and louche adventures, in Wild Beasts unique, inimitable style.

i mean really..... you dont think its a bit far?...

  • Great !!!!!!!

  • elements of Antony and the Johnsons, also a bit of Kate Bush. Excellent, music and were amazing at dot to dot in bristol!!

  • I loooove them; they're so unique!

  • sounds like Antony and the Johnsons if he would approve of dance music .. and that's a compliment!

  • @sputniksvythart He sure does approve. Check out Hercules and the love affair, he works with them too, they are dancey and are awesome.

  • It's just beautiful.

  • The first time i saw this lot (on Jools Holand) i thought it was total crap .

Then i got All The Kings Men on an Uncut Cd . It grew on me bit by bit to the point where i now adore it , then got the album and was very disappointed . Then that started to grow on me as well.......

Ok i hear echoes of lots of my old 80's favourites but so what , it's about how good the songs are....i now consider them a great band with a superb 2nd album , brilliant stuff.

  • best thing in many years. and the sound sounds actually unique.

  • 0:26

Seeing the vibrations of his neck gives me the chills. His voice is just so beautiful and deep.

  • just woke up to this. I love this band and this song. what's up with this video? is this the best one can do with such a visual, emotional piece of music? waking up all to a dream? (film class 1A) I've just been listening to this song all month. so many images ran through my head.

sorry... maybe I need to have my morning coffee.

  • @cinemarob haha, good point:) but u've seen junior boys' 'in the morning'? in that case it's also like 'wth?' but i like it. this one is really like 'u should feel bad for what u've done, with this video!' ;) and - remember royksopp's floating girl in 'what else is there'? just came to my mind...maybe i should grab my coffee...;)cheers

  • @wBAJKOnur

yes, there are lot's of references. (sometimes that's worst.) but it's all cool. I love this song. I dig this band, I love this world.... well, that's all from the California sunshine. (God, I miss the rain)

  • @cinemarob wow! so envy you! we have flood in poland:( God, we miss the sun so much!

still love the song and digging these beasts right know:)

  • Mysterious Awsomeness

  • I love the album Two Dancers - I think I'm gonna marry it

  • I love this song so much, but was a little disappointed with this video.

  • horses horses.

  • Sounds like hayden Thorpe to me you dudes!!!!

  • U2 plus amazing vocals.

    A brilliant song!!!

  • sounds better than Arcade Fire IMO. Less commercial.

  • It feels like all the videos for this album have an elemental theme

    Hooting & Howling - Water

All The King's Men - Earth

We Still Got The Taste Dancin' On Our Tongues - Air

I assume that there'll be a fourth single and video, incorporating some sort of Fire theme.

  • @xharliexase How highly perceptive of you? Just goes to show this audience attracts intellingent people!!

  • @xharliexase

More like: sex, sex, sex, sex, and more sex.

  • @xharliexase ther was fire in all the kings men.

  • @temsonx touche ;)

  • @xharliexase sorry i wrecked the buzz. u mite stil be onto somethin with ur idea.

  • video reminds me of Royksopp - What else is there ,

which is good cos i love that video

  • @1madmuffin thats an absolute tune!! an the vid is good too!

  • It doesnt sound anything like arcade fire ! Great song very unique quite an 80's ish sound but still very unique great vocals ...

  • amazing vocals and beats. the vocal is delicate and raw at the same time (which distinguished him from the rich and delicate vibrato of anthony).

cant stop listening to this CD

  • i dont think they sound like anybody and thats a compliment

  • true classic!

  • FxxKING Amazing Group !!!

  • went to see them @ the troubadour awsome concert

  • heard this song in student union bar yest and loved it but didnt know what it was.. found it lol! :D

  • Wow...mezmerizing...the voice sounds like Anthony Hegharty's....

  • @Sennin21 - Voice reminds of Antony mixed with Temper Trap's

  • @Sennin21 yeah, wow! but it sounds like Antony's just because it's also falsetto, still it's quite easy to recognize who is who, you would not confuse Hogarty and Thorpe. and btw i like Thorpe better, he's manner is not irritating, while Antony's can be:)

  • @Sennin21 It doesn't sound like anything but the wild beasts you dork! ggrrrr

  • @Sennin21 you're right

  • @Sennin21 He's got one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard. Everytime I hear it it's like a wave has come over. I think I am their biggest fan (apart from you lot, obviously) Their music just makes me feel hopeful. ;-)

  • Love It. Great SOng.

  • es como hipnotizante, simplemente no puedes dejar de escucharlos
