Thank you so much for what you do. Why not expand your goal to get ahead of the problem, such as legislate puppy mills and breeders off the face of the planet. For every dog bought at a puppy mill, breeder, or pet store, a very deserving shelter pet is sentenced to death. I would be happy if dogs and cats were so scarce that you had to go through a background check, a home inspection, and pass follow-up checks. Wouldn't it be wonderful if there was even a wait list on available pets? 1 day
