@ghostalin FTC is a "junior varsity" level robotics competition in between FLL and FRC. Each level of the competition uses different technology and has a different game, all tailored to the appropriate challenge level. The FTC competition uses the LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT controller. Only the FRC competition uses the compactRIO controller from National Instruments.
@666alberto The purpose of the video was the highlight the NI CompactRIO as the new controller for the FIRST Robotics Challenge (FRC) back in 2009. The ages section shows that LabVIEW is being used throughout the FIRST Robotics program and not just FRC. For more information on the CompactRIO and pricing outside of FRC, please visit ni dot com slash cRIO.
So I think the video is pretty good. However, I am heavily biased not only because I work at NI but also because I actually made the video. Still, it was a pretty fun video to make and I am glad that at least a few people like it.
Why is this controller not yet used in FTC?

It would have been better if you would have closed the video with the tag line - spoken in subdued voice: "Some assembly required"
