@MortisCityHC My guess is that the equipment was so new they hadn't set up that part yet. So, in a sense, it was a test for that unit. I've seen other videos with another unit using the proper recorded message.

The students weren't even doing anything wrong, they have this party every year, and this is the year that they decide to bring in the cavalry and assault people for apparently no reason. Just my two cents

@shadowhunter388 Yea i live here, was at the block party. Its not a joke. This is a town of 20,000 people it has NEVER been this way. The guys who started the fire sure take them to jail, but everyone else was doing what we do every year! What the city hall has approved as ok for us to do a the end of the semester before summer. It has NEVER gotten out of control until they showed up with riot gear and ELRAD. Everyone was just drinking and partying, it goes on EVERY weekend. This was ridiculous

@kingkevinshelton Yes but after that fire I am sure the police couldn't just go in and slap cuffs on the dudes and walk out without being harmed, I do agree with you but lots of these people were throwing bottles and shit at the riot police, imagine if those cops didn't have armour or shields, they could kill one of them officers if one of those bottles ends up smacking one of them in the head.
