The stabbing and suicide rumour is untrue also. He is from South Africa (it's not even been aired out there)and did the advert to raise money to get him through his schooling. He is training to be an athlete to compete in the 2012 London Olympics. He only found out about the hatred of that ad fairly recently from a friend who stubled upon a site where people were posting supposed death threats.
