Farmed salmon still taste like garbage compared to wild Alaskan salmon. Plus I don't want cancer from God-knows-what they are administered in terms of antibiotics/growth hormones. Yikes.
@poepishtoe We certainly support consumers to make a personal choice on what type of salmon they prefer, but hope they do so based on fact, not myth. Wild-caught, hatchery and farm-raised salmon are equally healthy, and contain no added hormones and very little (commonly none) antibiotics.
I've heard so many times that farm salmon are gray, which so many people are turned off by. Thank you for this video to set the record straight that both farmed and wild salmon eat Carotene to obtain their beautiful pink coloring!
