when you get the final mask take all the other ones off the mask holder before you go there for you got all the masks tha how i did it.

So, one question to everyone. I let my hired mercenary use one of my masks and I accidentally pushed the right bumper (XBOX) and I had the shout named storm call and all the mages in Winterhold, including my hired mercenary, turned against me and I killed my hired mercenary and fled from the area and when I came back, the corpse was not there. How do I get the mask back? or Am I screwed and have to load way-way-way back.

@abounowes I'm only level 36, total armor of 400, duel welding weapons with 62 damage each with a 8 damage enchantment. Using the power of the seed stone makes me a high armor thief. BTW, it's better to get the ebony mail that using daedric armor. The mail has a slightly lower armor rating, but it deals 5 damage each second, and it increases your sneak ability.

the only masks that really have any purpose for someone who isn't a mage, in my personal opinion, are Otar&Volsung

Otar helps with dragons&mages because the +30% resistance to fire, frost&shock&Volsung just helps if you want to get 20% better prices or need an extra 20 added to your carry weight

ooor for whatever reason you decide you want to stay underwater for long periods of time

but Konahrik is definitely the most badass looking one&it has a slightly higher armor rating than a Daedric helmet

This mask reminds me of the damn amulet quest. I forget what it's called, the one with three fragments and the treacherous brothers which are like draugr/liches. Anyway, you go on this big epic quest and then at the end they give you absolute shit on a stick as the reward. I literally vendor'd that trash at the first opportunity.

At any rate Nahkriin mask is far superior for me as a mage than the end reward is, which is just disappointing and dumb.

@Vire70 agreed, it's called the Gauldur Amulet&30+ Magicka, Health&Stamina is basically just total shit, especially if you're at a higher level, over level 50 or so

i mean +100 after combining the 3 fragments would've been veeery nice

stamina regenerating 100% faster would've been MUCH better of a reward

@rockrules14 What the heck are you talking about? I kinda agree with him, it is useless, I'm Lv 51 right now and I never even use Potions anymore. NPC's do level, thou, not the same way they did in Oblivion, they only get a bit stronger, not too much. So when you cross a certain Lv, everything becomes really easily killable.

To keep All masks, put all other masks on the Statues, Take Konahrik mask, retrieve All the masks you put on the busts, take off wooden mask. You are only teleported back to the Present when you take the wooden mask off.. I just did this literally 2 minutes ago.

now this konahrik is ONE MOST POWERFUL HELM if you build ur skill 2 be 100 smithing skills (improve the helm by using gold ingot) cuz this helm can go legendary.

It does more then the discription indicates guys. The mask actually can do 2 different things in the players HP is low.

(1) A chance that the mask will knock back enemies, heal the wearer and any nearby allies, and grant a fire cloak for a brief time

(2) Will summon a spectral Dragon Priest to come to your aid.

the masks enchantments should be, increases health regeneration rate by x5 and when health is below half it hurts all surrounding enemies. The only "chance" things should be the dragon priest part. =/

It isn't testhall as the console code, it is coc qasmoke. Still, when you open up the chest with the enchanted weapons, the game doesn't crash, it just takes the game a while, sometimes up to a few minutes to load all of the items. Moreover, you can't always take some of the enchanted weapons because THAT will cause the game to crash.
