cheers man, sorry about urs, yeah I got up and alright it hurt but I carried on, adrenaline... stupid because I ended up potted for 9 weeks and then recovering for another 6 I think, I had to get out every second day cos I was so bored, u'll mend, but don't rush anything, my ankle still is stiff and hurts sometimes, even though it was a year ago , if I'd have known what I know now I wouldn't have carried on, get well soon!
woah, I just did the exact same thing tonite @ practice. Same deal, got kinda tangled up randari, down on one knee and pushed down and back. Not as bad as yours, but damn that hurts. Once you start messing up ankles and knees it just seems to keep happening. Jus R.I.C.E. it and go do what you can right?
thanks very much for posting, I was in a pot for 8 weeks, and wasn't back on the matt for about another 4 after that, I was just getting back into it when my dojo was closed down for a while, my ankle still hurts and is stiff sometimes, I think it's allways gonna be a bit dodgy now, but hey hey, thanks again for commenting
Thanks for asking, I've now been back in the dojo taking things slowly for about 2 weeks , no problems so far :) overall I spent over twelve weeks off the matt
OWW! that looks like a bad one! unfourtunatly these things happen. I really hope your leg heels ok. I tore my acl and mcl ligaments about four years ago and have done it again about five times since, I really miss doing competitive judo. hope all is well, great video.
