@MrFoxGuitar Agree. I think it has so much to do with being able to use a lower wattage thus being able to have that "cranked" sound at a much more forgiving volume which in turn is great for studio work :D

Dude, it's a matter of taste. For example i preffer the EL84 over 6L6GC, because of the dynamics they have. I'm also a fan of KT88 ;)

@Bartoliniification ...no, of course they won't have stacks of those, they are playing arenas!!ha ha.....but as a studio/practice/recording amp, it is hard to beat...i thought the same thing too about 25 watts, but trust me, it is a lot louder than i would have believed with tons of low end....i definitely would have liked 5-10 more watts, but this will do...and my other amp is the 6505plus, so those 2 are the best metal amps for the money IMO
