I like how the people commenting on this video at least enjoyed this album. If you look up something from "Hopes and Fears" all the comments talk about how much we should hate "Perfect Symmetry". Yes: Basically, as someone's life ends (i.e. as the record ends.. the record stylus slipping into the run out groove (the end)) then he's hoping that fundamentalists will then feel love, as opposed to the hate they feel now.

It's that easy! It's a song against fundamentalism.

The song actually talks about the reality of life, nothing else. "What i do that will be done to me".This line talks about Karma.

The firsta 2 paragraphs talk about humans and war, using "the wisest of the animals" as irony.

In the end, they talk about the present world(emails churches and everything)
