I have a goldoe and a toy poodle she (the girl is the Poodle) rules the K-9 family in my home. She really loves her tall gental friend.Major has problems with keeping his sugar from droping when he is overly upset. Ivory will run to me and to make sure I am on my way to help her big friend. I love dogs no mater how small or big they are.
That poodle and GS are a true joy to watch, especially in this day of neglectfull or abusive owners. But every once in while your sandwiches must consist of ham, cheese, dog hair, lettuce, tomato and mustard. Right?
@curley920 Actually, no, our apartment did not smell like shit. We take care of our animals, feed them with good quality food, groom them regularly and they are all completely housebroken. Glad you thought them cute and funny.
@Censorshipisbullshi The third dog, Cupid, has since passed on. He was the elder statesman of the group but still had playful moments. This was a time when he just observed :-)
Thanks for the comments, everyone. Travis, the poodle/maltese terrier mix here is almost 2 now and he and Lady, our shepherd, still play together a lot. He is still crazy active and launches himself right at her and she still patiently counters his attacks. Actually she is a lot swifter now and it's awesome watching their feinting and parrying. We joke around about her being his girlfriend and watching them play is great entertainment.

LOL! My poodle runs around like a manica like that too! And Lady is so patient with Travis. Shepherds are great dogs. We had a shepherd/collie mix when I was growing up named Shane and he was just the best.
I agree with you about shepherds. We adopted Lady from an animal rescue shelter almost 2 years ago. She was starved & only a day away from being euthanized when the rescue league got her. We really felt it was meant to be when we saw her and we love her. She's ladylike, patient, protective and beautiful. It's funny how we remember the dogs we've had better than some of the people we knew. Shane sounds like a great dog. Thanks for viewing and commenting.
