Well, I don't know about the police officer being right. Well, not so much right as over reacting. I mean really, to go pull over an ambulance because he didn't pull over right away. Many people do this all the time. I think the Ambulance driver was just not paying attention. He does say he was sorry. As far as the EMT, your right, was also way out of line. I smoke weed, it does nothing to me, etc etc) I have exceeded the speed limit, and I have had to pay in tickets for that, but I also know that every time I speed I run the risk of getting pulled over. Ambulances are allowed to go a set speed, this one broke that.

@ps3dethman1 When their lights are on they are following new laws and rules. They are only allowed to exceed the speed limit by 15 miles an hour in my state and are allowed to go through red lights. I think that they are allowed to go faster and I agree with it, however, they have rules on how much faster they can go, and it applies to police and military as well. They have to go by their own rules, if not you call the station and their lt will do something about it.

Also here in Italy....when some police officers stop ambulances to control that the crew is using siren+lights for a real emergency and not for fun, if the found patient on board they often ask to the crew (i'm paramedic and flight nurse) if the want to have some escort to hospital....this is the right way.

This is uncalled for. I am in Law enforcement and never have Myself or any of my coworkers pulled over and ambulance for fire truck for any reason. Yea he did not have the lights on but he was still in transport to the emergency room. These people make us all look bad.

Also here in Italy....when some police officers stop ambulances to control that the crew is using siren+lights for a real emergency and not for fun, if the found patient on board they often ask to the crew (i'm paramedic and flight nurse) if the want to have some escort to hospital....this is the right way.

@FarmaNap dude seriously the black guy was not pulling race card i did a report on this incident and found out he told the officers that it is a felony to put hands on an EMT even more so while on a hot call. i later found out that the reason the cop was making people yeild was because he had to pick up his wife which is not a reason to flash the lights at all. a petition is being signed to get the officer fired which will probably happen
