Yea, my mom regressed a little too... even called me some really mean things... getting bashed hurts when it's a stranger, but when your own parents do it, it's like them squeezing your heart in a vice.
my mom did the same thing to me...i was sitting there balling tears and she was like "oh.....ok.....you do what you have to do to be happy" i was like what?! when i came out as a lesbian she cried for literally 3 months like every day ... but be warned....2 weeks later she broke down and regressed a little.
Good Job Jen. Yur amazing. And even if your parents didn't accept you... You know that people on youtube, facebook and other places REALLY ACCEPT YOU. because we love you a lot and you make life awesome.
Congrats on coming out!! Oooo beware the non-reaction reaction.! Mine had that kind of reaction and then the shit went down a few months later when I started on hormones and it took much longer than that for my Dad to really accept it. Just brace yourself for the possibility of negativity in the future. Not saying it will happen, but don't let it catch you off-guard :o) I'm here for you if you need any support. /Warren

I started writing this message before you were even finished and I thought what a relief it must be to come all the way out and in the open... but then there must be some confusion as well which you said at the end of your vid. Your parents seem like very cool people and no doubt they knew your plight in telling them... and of course they will be going thru some confusion over your journey as well. They love you so much and they don't want you to go thru the pain of identity issues any longer.

I wonder if the questions will come with time? Was it kind of a let down that it didn't feel like it was as hard for them as it was for you? I mean, I would imagine that in some way it would be relieving - but at the same time kind of.. frustrating? I dunno.
