  • I cannot figure out which movement is which... What order are these supposed to go in, so I may listen to them properly?!

  • The joy and happiness of the Perlman's sound is beatfully expressed.

Maestro Guilini how I miss you... Bravo

  • Coytray, I agree with you in a 100%. It's something from heaven.

  • Nice , but Janine is surely superior.

  • @sealoevertje THAT. is like comparing a Suzuki Book 7 sStudent to Sarah Chang

  • I'm finished.

  • HAVING LISTENED TO BOTH STERN AND MENUHIN, I BELIEVE THAT PEARLMAN IS TODAYS FINEST VIOLYNIST.

  • @coytray of course he is, the other two are dead hahahahahaha

  • Ha I had know idea this was Brahms, heard it on There Will Be Blood :)

  • @mi007fistspot

    Haha nice, nice.

I heard part of this on The Mentalist Season 3 Episode 22.My favorite piece by Brahms.

  • @benomind I would have to say, that I like the first two movements a little more than I like the third. but the intire piece is amazing! Brahms is fast becoming my favorite composer.

  • Just beautiful! If only there were a video along with it...

  • @frixyvlog ¡Certainly! Sadly there isn't any, but we have this beautiful recording! :)

  • @frixyvlog there is a currently available DVD of Perlman playing Brahms/Beethoven with Barenboim/Berlin Phil. i don't remember what year it was filmed, it was first released 2005. vintage Perlman, but not quite as good as Heifetz/Reiner, the alltime greatest Brahms.
