As I live in Alberta & see this sort of thing all the time, I can't even come close to feigning surprise. This is becoming more & more common & the oil companies are given free reign to destroy aquifers, land, wildlife and peoples lives. ALL because we have a government bought & paid for with OIL money.
Methane is NOT manmade. It's naturally occurring. You have a tainted well. You should've had the property checked over before you bought it.
