The problem with having that is, as much as i love the series and the books and all that, the fact of the matter is the movies are long enough as it is. Voldemort's mother is such a minor character and has such little involvement with anything other then background and character development that they simply can't waste 5-15 minuets of an already over 2 hr film explaining it when they have more to go through.

I'll say, I don't like Harry Potter but it is infinitely better than Twilight. Twilight is poorly written (Seriously. Christopher Paolini is a better writer than her.) There is no actual character development (The main character is a Mary Sue.) The only one in the book with a believable personality is Jacob. The aren't bad, they're readable but literature wise Twilight is far below Harry Potter. And Harry Potter isn't far up on my scale because it's a children's book.
