  • If you buy rulebooks for pretty pictures your an idiot and wasting your money

  • @friendlyshadow7

If you buy rulebooks from companies that charge you double the price for a drop in product quality YOU are an idiot

  • models arent better quality than GW stuff. btu perhaps more satisfying anf evocative dpeednign on what floats your boat

  • well yoouuu know shut the fuck up haha

  • 'oh there metal no conversion... well u can shut the FUCK UP!!!" lol

  • OMG!!! I CAN MUST CALL STEVE!!!

  • I only read books with shiney pictures!!! Hahah! Just fuckin with ya dude! If i knew anybody else that played Warmachine around here id buy an army....I have no idea the differences between the armies in Warmachine/Hordes...but ive been playin 40k since rogue trader(1st guard, then nids, now marines)...its hard enough finding people to play 40k with and that's been around for 20 years!

  • @Kumite0071 I have models for both but it is only my close friend I know who also has warmachine. So I'm kinda getting back into WH40k. I was trying to show how high quality, and what value you get with warmachine, GW needs some competition to lower prices :P

  • @DigitalNinja2012 Your totally right on that one dude...it was kindof expensive 15 years ago..but i could afford multiple armies and had $ leftover from a part time job as a teenager...i make roughly 4x's as much as when i quit playing then, but its still takin me broke getting ONE Tournament ready 1750-2k point SpaceMarineArmy together...i'll alays have a thing for 40k or any good tabletop/strategy games,...the smokin redhead chick who manages my local GW is also a rare bonus to 40k games ; )

  • @DigitalNinja2012 Theres alot of gamers, but I had to call around a few shops+found out most,if not all host weekly 40k/Malifaux+WM games, but GW DEFINATELY needs the competition! My Eyes on Malifaux(Wyrd Miniatures)...Its geared toward an older crowd...Darker,Creepier background+some of the Best Artwork+Models+storylines ive seen for AnyGame...EVER! Its got yer' monsters,machines... war,guns+magic...PLUS necropunks, zombie hookers, cannibal babies, voodoo+ninja's!?! Definately wortha look! Cheers!

  • @Kumite0071 WARMACHINE IS (caps) from what ive been told basically the next warhammer.

  • I say play both warhammer 40k AND warmachine if you can afford it. Me I will ay both.

But If you can't, well, then just choose the one you prefer/can afford.

  • I love skirmish level games. I miss Warzone and their rule system. I'm lucky to have a game store with a really healthy Warmachine community. I've been a fan of this game for a few years, but haven't been out of the hobby for a few years.

  • the mighty page 5 is worth the price of the whole book alone

  • i prefer 40k and on some points you're being unfair.

colored pages are lovely, but how can anyone prefer that over quality of the fluff which is sad in WM

for a 100$ i bought assault on black reach with a friend (i payed half) and SM battleforce, i now have a 1250 list easy 1500 with upgrades

what kind of an argument is fuck you to conversions?? i can make a plastic HQ easily from a few bits - how's that bad?

    no pinning or greenstuffing required

and most important, a lot of players in 40k

  • Did u have to pin the jack's??

  • that would be pretty handy, yes

  • i like both games but i like 40k a little better

  • Well, Warmachine in my opinion fits my playing style preferences. 40k seemed cool(attracted me to MWG) but the number of models made it seemed ridiculous to invest in and I personally don't like the business practices that GW follow.

  • lol it was funny when u said shut the fuck up :P kudos i hate ppl who bitch about posing and coversion

hit up my channel dude i got a few battle reports up dude check em out :D

    nice vids btw

  • I know. Cryx player solidarity, by the way, congrats on the win against Cygnar. You might wanna check out the Fell Calls podcast. They discuss Warmachine, the spinoff game Hordes, and the Iron Kingdoms RPG. They're hilarious and got me interested in Warmachine even though I'd never been a wargamer. and knew nothing about it bevfore hearing the podcast.

  • Warmachine is da bomb.

    Bitches dont know shit.

    Warmachine is boss.

  • CALL STEVE TODAY

  • like you said, its a skirmish game, so stop comparing it to warhammer. It's going to be more pricey, cause theres more models you twat.

  • Don't call me a twat ya f'ing cunt , I was just asking a question.

  • Not talking to you, lifes not about you. Idiot ting.

  • Are these made out of some sort of resin? To be honest I do find the initial investment for WarHammer a little high, I think this would be a good way for me to get into the hobby without going broke.

  • Metal, but they are making the move over.

  • @wotanson1 a little too high? The entry price for warhammer is ridiculous! for the price of a starter warmachine army, you can get 1 unit in warhammer, how much sense does that make?

  • @xxelaxela333 You know it's funny, It's been 11 months since I posted that, since then I've bought, assembled and painted a 3K point Tyranid army and picked up a Hordes Orboros starter. Have to say it's the best money I've spent yet. I really enjoy playing 40K and look forward to having the time to assemble and paint my Hordes army. Good stuff all around.

  • $450-600 per army, and what, 3+ armies per gamer due to "game creep"? And most gamers are "poly users" of multiple games? How many times then is game creep repeated per gamer & per game?

I almost wish I was just into football, it would be so much cheaper than this lead crack! Step 1: "I am powerless against lead crack and incapable of moderation..."

  • i play 40k and am a long time miniature game player now i buy minis from all kinds of companies and make my own minis games sometime i make my minis from crap around the house. i will spend 30 bucks or less on materials to make a home brew minis game that is fun for hours

  • I would get war machine but i dont know any body who plays it. it does look kida cool.

  • They look nice but no-one is playing that around here. Guess i'll have to stick to warhammer.

  • I actually never really thought about warhammer much before this video. Seems a HELL of a lot easier to transport these few models around to play games, that's for sure.. Unfortunately I don't know many people who play it. Also, you did a lot of bashing on my precious 40k :(

  • Call Steve today for a free market evaluation 489-1297

  • Sorry couldn't resist. Seriously though, me and my pals have just gotten into Warmachine, long time 40K players and it really is a high quality game.

  • Honestly dude. I've been thinking about warmachine for months now. I just don't have the spare 50 bucks to drop on an army box. I haven't had any money to spend on the hobby in a couple months XD

On top of that, My local game shop has a Tyranid battleforce that has been waiting for me to pay for.

So long story short, I REALLY want to play warmachine.. but I'll have to wait till the wallet can handle it.

Just an fyi: By the end of the video you sound like a big time WM fanboy... BIASED! =P

  • Haha, I still have my warhammer, they just havn't been getting any loving lately. I find it to difficult and long to set up a game and play, I don't have that kinda time no more.

  • I picking up what your throwing down.

I do have a 20$ credit at my LGS so you'll see a vid with me and my new army box sooner than later =P

  • PP products, which I love... get new updates every month, new models to buy if u're collecting everything. I collect cryx + cygnar + merc + pirates army for Warmachines

and the total cost that I have spent for

    both game systems....

well... let's just say that there is nothing I need anymore for my 40k army, and my fantasy army...

but for my Warmachines armies... it going on forever.

overall, i feel that Warmachine is a little more expensive compared to 40k.

    =) luv yr vids

  • Yeah, thats more than 1 army though, it depends the way you collect it. If you collected every army in Warhammer it would be the same thing.

  • @meowbeen no thats r=wrong warmachine is way cheaper and if you don't already own 40k now it's to expensive to star so now warmachine and hordes are the cheapist way to go and 50 bucks you can already play but you have to spend 100 bucks for 40k so warmachine is better now

  • @drufixman1234567890 if you read my comment in details, I mentioned that it will be far more expensive if you collect everything!!!! your way of collecting is to start with a small amount..... and add on more stuff eventually.... if you do have both system armies, you'll get what I meant.... but now with the embargo and the price hike, I would say it's relatively expensive for both systems.... but to each its own I guess....

  • wow, u play cryx and cygnar?... me too!!!

I play merc + pirates as well...

however I dun agree if u find warmachines to be cheaper than 40k or WHFB...

    let's compare...

GW games.... u collect up til 2000 - 3000 points army... You stop for at least 2-3 yrs before the next codex or army book is released for you to purchased any new models.... also, u can reuse the models if U decided not to get the new models.

  • XD Lame.

  • hahaha
