  • Holy crap Nathan Lane is amazing.

  • i got to sing this for a play

  • The best performance I have ever seen.....

  • One of my favorite songs sung by one of my favorite people. Nathan Lane is my hero.

    The opening is just perfect.

  • He is great live. I got to see him in the Addams Family.

  • @batsliketofly Me too! He was absoloutley amazing!

  • Nathan Lane has a beautiful ophra voice. I love Nathan Lane so so so so super Duper much!!!!! END OF STORY! He is very handsome. I can see Timon singing this one too.

  • ここに極まれり

  • this is the best version!

  • Is this the only song he did in the movie?!

  • Oh my goodness-It's TIMON! XD

  • @sprite3517 Then you would probably love The Producers! Timon and Adult Simba sing together!

  • @chengoo Haha, I LOVE The Producers! ^^

  • @sprite3517 "When heeee was a young warthooooooooog!" :>

  • No matter what role he plays, he always looks like he's honestly enjoying it to the fullest. I totally and completely love that man. He's excellent at what he does.

  • I LOVE BROADWAY!!!!!!

  • Nathan Lane is the funniest and most talented man that Broadway has seen in a very long time.

  • @MrCclynch1 Got that right. I love Nathan Lane so much. He deserves the credit and love and support. Nathan Lane should be nominated for The Grammy Awards. He would win lots of them no doubt about it.

  • I loooooooove loooooooove loooooooooove looooooooooove him he's incredible did i mention i loooooooove him?!?!

  • Wow, Nathan really sings wonderfully here. He's a wonderful singer otherwise, but a lot of his singing roles are for characters who seem somewhat crass (i.e., Max Bialystock). This particular performance shows a very classy side to his voice.

  • A truly Classy Man!!! Enough said

  • Best song ever!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D Thanks X

  • This is great. The song is actually from "Annie Get Your Gun!"

  • I have seen him in a half of a dozen Broadway Shows. He sure does love his job. It shows. Frogs, November, Odd Couple, Butley, Waiting For Godot, The Producers. On May 22nd it will be The Adams Family. Can't wait. Now that I add this all up, Nathan Lane has cost me a lot of money. Worth every nickel.

  • wow he is good!

  • Classic. =]

  • A love song to art - so, the most tender love song.

  • my first time in show bussiness, was june 1972, at kennedy jr high school in waltham mass. my 9th grade class. i had to be in a play or go to summer school. ok the choice was obuiovs. but i still can see my good friend -tommy donlon- asking me to dance. comon he said peter dance , well i could not dance. i will always recall that show. then on 24 july1972, the angels picked tommy for a friend, tommy got hit by car on lake st in waltham mass, and died. we were 14.stilll miss you, love peter.

  • This song is wonderful, Nathan Lane is too!

  • I love the song :)

  • Amo isso...

  • Timon =3

  • love's labours lost? this song is from annie get your gun...

  • @froofiedadawg The song might be from Annie Get Your Gun, but this clip is from the movie Love's Labor's Lost.

  • Oh ok. Sorry, I haven't seen that :-x

  • This scene is in the movie Love's Labour's Lost

  • Clurk?!

  • @missbabyice Clerk

  • I am in love with Nathan Lane, why are all the good ones gay?!!!!!!

  • sorry hun im an actor well in traneing but still but im not gay but i dont compaer to nathan

  • love this song

  • I ran across the comments from Jacob95124 while watching the "No Business Like Show Business" video and must point out that I totally disagree. Quite a few years ago, my son - then about sixteen years old - broke a New York City taboo and approached Nathan Lane in a restaurant where we were eating a few tables away. Nathan was extremely gracious to a young kid whom he did not know and had no reason to honor with his courtesy except the plain fact that Nathan seems to be a very nice guy.

  • i heard he is a good guy

  • my friend and i reckon it totally sounds like he screams "mother-fucker" at 2:49....?

  • No....he is saying...Mama, Papa

  • I'm pretty sure he said, "Mama! Papa!"

  • he says:

    "mama, papa, mama, papa"

  • After being a long time fan a Nathan Lane, I finally got to meet him. He's an "a hole!" He's not as funny and sweet as you might think. He's rude and very snotty. I will admit, he's got talent, but if you aren't a big name in the business, he looks at you like he squeezed you out and you're about to be flushed!

  • i've heard differently.

  • not that you're wrong or anything, i dont know. i've always heard he's a very nice and gracious man. maybe he had a bad night.

  • well, i got to meet him, and i dont know if he is very snotty but my situation was alot different, i saw him after waiting for godot, and the guy next to me had like 4 different things for him to sign and after the 3rd one nathan looked at me like "this guys a shmuck" which i thought was pretty funny, and he was nice to me, but im also a relativly small 17 yr old. but i thought he was pretty nice. maybe its just me.

  • another Hudson County, New Jersey talent. Awright Jersey City!

  • Nathan Lane is absolutely fantastic in everything that he does! End of story!!!! =p I just wish that the entire movie was up somewhere, because Im sure that he had some great lines in this movie!!!!!!!

And who knew he could tap dance?!?!

  • @SognoCapricioso Agreed. This whole song is Nathan Lane "stealing that extra bow." It's his inner Ethel on full throttle. Give a man credit for living the dream!

  • :) Beautiful

  • Nathan Lane's about to play Ringmaster HamEgg in the "Astro Boy" movie. I wonder if he'll sing this song to Astro as he tempts him to join the Robot Circus.

  • really? astro boy??? lol

  • This song, and this film is mean so much for me, becaus im an actor....thank for this:)

    (and sorry abaut my english):D

  • Love Nathan!!!!!

  • GO NATHAN ! WHAT A STAR !

  • Como mola! me encantaria triunfar en broadway! pena que me separe tan solo un oceano!

  • I have a friend who's life motto is this song. She starred in "Beauty and the Beast" two weeks after she'd had three tumors removed from her leg.

  • With that moustache and the top hat, Nathan reminds me so much of Jackie Gleason's old character, Reggie Van Gleason the Third.

  • TIMON!

  • is this a movie?

  • Yes, it's a wonderful movie.

  • nathan = king of broadway

  • or the Queen of Broadway...lol :P

  • AWESOME theres no ppl like show ppl they smile when they are low.....

  • OMG!!!!! I absolutely looove this!! Nathan's singing's so geat!! Especially at the beggining!!

  • The Producers!

    i like him:)

  • Damn good

  • Nathan,you're brilliant!!!!!!!!

  • Why, it's good old, reliable Nathan!

    Happy birthday!

  • I have an idea!!! Let's leave homosexuality out of this!

  • The music here was conducted/arranged by Carl Johnson who composed the music to the "Gargoyles" series.

  • ITS NO "WAY TO TIPPERARY"

  • lol, i have to lean this song for the 10th anv. gala for sct♥ its weird

  • Isn't that fabulous?! :D

  • no it's not

  • Lighten up homophobe! All the best entertainers are gay!

  • nathan lane is a homosexual beast!!! i love him!!! what a singer!

  • I completely agree with u kid

  • God sve the King Nathan Lane!!

  • Nathan Lane looks like the Jackie Gleason character Reginald Van Gleason.

  • Mhm... I'm confused..

It's much different from the same song from Annie get your gun.

And the description says it's from "Love's Labour's Lost"

    Can anyone help me =)?

  • Love's Labour's Lost is a play from Shakespeare and The people who made the film Love's Labour's Lost Included this song in it.

  • The original song is from "Annie Get Your Gun"

They made a film called "There's No Business Like Show Business" which also starred Ethel Merman.

They just added the song to this movie.

And the dancing reminds me of the dancing during 'I Wanna Be A Producer' from the movie "The Producers" with Nathan Lane

  • ahh thx!

  • Definitely, especially the tap bits..

  • maybe he's great, but Ethel Merman 's Ethel Merman!!!

  • I would bear Nathan Lane's children. Don't care if he's gay, I'd still do it.

  • I have dibs on his kids first!!

  • It's not from The Producers! KNOW YOUR SHOWS!

  • Wow... the beginning shows a side of Nathan's singing that I hadn't heard before... his tone is so beautiful... and on top of that, he's hilarious, and can tap dance!

    He's a theatre geek's god. :P

  • @Farnik01 Couldn't agree more.

  • He looks like Robert Goulet with that moustache.

  • I always liked this song. It was amazing. I didn't know it was from the Producers.

  • It's not. It was originally from a show called Annie Get Your Gun. They adapted it for this movie, which is an adaption of a Shakespearean play.

  • This is my favorite part of the movie!! Nathan Lane is brilliant!!

  • He's so great! Tahnk You!

  • Nathan Lane =) Absolutely Fabulous!!!

    Thanks!
