hey man, nice job...sounds great, but that is not an RG565..those had no middle single coil..It looks like a 560 with reverse headstock...a special model perhaps, or neck change...either way, it sounds awsome..

@kobz48 he's a great rock guitarist which is sloppy as hell but, nice tone and great attitude but, if you're reffering to technique and actual chops then i agree. He has some nice vibratto and pick attack though and he obviously can write the songs since he's one of the most legendary rock guitarists of all time. He also seems to be a real down to earth cat which i think is awesome he's the anti-Malmsteen. I'm a vai,satch,gilbert kind of guy personaly.

I wish I can tell you if it's good enough for a live show, but I'm only a hobbyist, not a performer. I went with a multi-effects box for simplicity and being able to save the different settings/sounds in a "bank"...

Not too bad, just need to try to quiet some of the strings a little more (ones that are not being played). BTW, that's not an RG565. The 565 was a limited run done in 91'-92'.

Actually, that's about the same time I first bought the guitar. All I know was that it was a Guitar Center Anniversary edition, but it collected dust for the next 16 years, so I asked several forums to see exactly what I had. Someone had mentioned that I had a "hybrid" 565... hybrid, because the 565's didn't come come in my pickup configuration... so I went with that.

I think it's pretty good. You can probably use it in a small venue... but it's too loud just for home use. I've been told that I should be using a PA or keyboard amp or similar anyways since I'm using a modelling processor. Hope that helps...
