what size/weight is your hoop? i've been practicing iso's with an old heavy hoop of mine, and my wrists just aren't strong enough yet.

Loveeeee it , funny I never saw anything like this before , but after a couple " heavy" drinks , I was too dizzy to hoop considering all the circles you do , so I decided to start just trying to get my body in and out of it without hitting myself , and I discovered I can do some of this stuff!! obviously not as well as you , but then I looked up some of your stuff and I'll be catching up soon! i'll post some stuff of mine soon I'd love your input on it!

oh, the bounce thing ...hard to explain. almost impossible to, actually; i keep trying. um... it's like a top-heavy figure 8. arch it downward and let it fall, but hopefully with enough arch, it'll swing under and scoop up- then follow the up-swing and you can use your fingers to give it a little extra push.

wouldn't it be disappointing to find out if brecken were straight? It would be to me anyways. She is the best. The BEST hooper. I wish I had flow like she does. He body is perfectly in line with every movement. Totally natural and powerful expression. She is definitely my favourite of all of the hoopers I have watched on youtube.

@neotericlolita hardware stores are weird, it turns out. idk what they're thinking. there ARE connectors for 1/2inch, but you might need to go to a different store to find them. plastic, grey, jagged ribs.

100. 1/2 inch. great tubing in general though: the shit with the little pin-stripe- love it. there's something especially floaty about it.

hey dude. it's 1/2inch, 100 psi- which apparently is made in a few different ways. I got that stuff when i was in north carolina at (i think) a home depot. But i've been to a ton of hardware stores where their 1/2inch-100 is really stiff and unpleasant (i'm anal though). mine's pretty lofty and the tube is sort of oval-shaped. sometimes when i'm starting it i like to imagine that i'm just skimming the edge of a giant pipe or hole- like it's already stuck there and my arm has to catch on. and if it starts to falter a little, you can always give it a little push somewhere and take the "i meant to do that" stance. that's seriously most of what i learned in art school: pretend it's intentional and go with it.
