  • Listen, babe, I tend to binge on booze at the weekend, not vitamin K, or as you call it 'vyetamin kay'. Anyway, babe, what is this vitamin K nonsense? Give me the facts not your medecine degree jargon. I was off me tits last night on a bit of vyetamin yokes, washed down with a bottle of vyetamin Buckfast and me GP has me on 12mg of warfarin. Is it a bad buzz to load a few pills and the odd bottle of B on top of your warfarin or can this be counteracted with a sneaky vitamin joint?

  • Thanks for the video. I eat leafy vegetables all the time and am on warfarin for life. I have not had any issues, but I guess it is because of the reasons you talked about. I am so consistent with the amount I eat it does not seem to mess with my pt/inr. And compared to my body weight it is probably not a lot of vitamin K in comparison.

  • im 22 now been on warfarin for about 6 months this is my second bloodclot at age 17 i had my first one and at age 21 i had my second one. now im on medication for life amazing thing is to this day doctors dont know why i had them both because i didnt do any drugs and used to go to gym regularly, had dvt's both time round left thigh inr target 2.5 anything between 2 and 3 is fine for me. btw any1 here with clotting issues drink alchohol? if so plz let me know the effects it has thank you

  • @izy51 Have they sent you to a hematologist? They should check you for Factor V Leiden and other mutations. I am also on warfarin for life. I have not tried drinking more than a cooler with it because everyone says it is an absolute no-no. But I have a friend also on warfarin who drinks wine and mixed drinks and she is perfectly fine... but she is a light drinker. It is really hard to say I guess.

  • I have been on Warfarin since I was 22 yo and I am now 35 yo now and I Never eat Greens. I avoid Greens at all costs. I tried to incorporate greens into my diet but it threw all my levels out of wack and I had to re adjust my warfarin many times. It was just easier to stay away from greens or vitamin K. I have been Very consistant in my levels by avoiding greens all together. I have Factor 5 Liden deficiency or however you spell it. My levels average around 2.2-2.4 I appreciate your knowledge.

  • Smart n' hot..

  • Wow this drug is a pain in the butt. I only allowed my MD to put me on this with the strict understanding that I do not want to be on this pill for any length of time; now I am glad I said something.
