I could have played it cleaner and maybe its because I didn't post the whole song? One of the chorus chords is wrong too so I changed the tab after I made the video. For my first attempt at a fingerpicking song I'm happy with it...need an acoustic though!

Heya, for the moment check the tab and with the video it should give you a rough idea. At some point I'll do another vid of the whole song with the updated tab (I'll see about adding a slower intro bit then).
hey man, a little correction on the tab... for the first chord on the intro/verse, you have the high e string tabbed on the 1st fret... is it not actually on the 3rd? i played around and i thought it sounded right... figured you might've just made a slight error while tabbing... and thanks for the tab, it's great!
Hmm its pretty much the first finger picking song I've ever tried and it just sort of came with a bit of practice. It definately helped me to concentrate more on the bass notes though - the hardest part I found was getting used to the finger picking away from you if you know what I mean. I started slow and built up to it. Hope that helps a little bit... Once you get the hang of it its pretty straight forward.
trying looking at tabs for blackbird by the beatles... it's a classic finger-pick song, and is probably a lot easier to learn if you're unfamiliar with finger picking. it uses only a 1-note bassline for most of the song, so it's easier than this song, which uses two. it will really get your foot through the door, and open you up to play a lot of other finger pick songs, including eddie vedder/pearl jam ones.

Any chance you could do another vid showing your picking hand playing a little slower just to see what to pick when.
If not i understand, just trying to figure it out. Never really been much good at finger picking but i love this song.
