You gave some really usefull tips, I would like to mention fielding a rhino as a transport to counter there slow and purpusfull and give them more mobility ps not good vs orks!
I play a pure Thousand sons army, my list always starts with 2 units of as you say but with 8 not 9 thousand sons as it makes the full unit 9 men, I ignore cover and just walk in a line forward, It works very well and I win almost every game I play.
You are 100% correct on how to use them. Field 1 unit with a sorcerer with that exact wargear. Definitely use lash to set up targets for them.
I actually field a mix of many things when playing chaos as every unit has their job...but lash, inferno bolts followed with a khorne charge is game over for most units.
Thanks for the assist. I was wrong in thinking two units of thousand sons were gonna make up my core.. They ARE more of a support unit than a primary. My mistake for fighting Guard. Nice stuff.
I myself have a pure Tzeentch army, apart from my Terminator's which sometimes take mark of Slannesh for the Initiative5 and soon to be Daemon Prince which will have Lash (Thanks for the tip). A tzeentch army is very good, everything has an Invunerable save! I have Ahriman, which i must say is very, very good! But hes very squishy, just shove him in a big 20man squad of Thousand Sons. Ahriman can just pop out Doombolts and turn units to spawn! All is dust.
If your bringing a large Thousand Sons loosly themed army... bringing a Bolt of Tzeentch is strongly recommended for all of your Sorc(s)... I disagree with bringing a doombolt unless if your TS is small or you just have one squad of them... lacking the flexible in the weapons they bring in comparison to the more competitive Nurgle Plague marines. Having a bolt is enough to stop enemy vehicles is a big plus in your favor.
Necrons are the best army to use the lash thing against, simply because most people use Necrons to sit in a big bunch around a lord with Res-Orb so they never die.
simply lash the units out one by one and blast them to peices, if you kill the whole unit no we'll be back and if you don't charge them, you have a power weapon and likely only 3 or 4 left and with a squad of 10 you'll have 18 normal and 3 power weapon attacks, therefore, SPLAT!! :D
very very cool video dude. Im pretty switched on with 40K and I actually learnt heaps from this. Take down pretty much anything with the Lash and powerhouse with the 4+ invulnerable. Also nice how you mentioned the support guideline. Now to purchase some on eBay :D
btw, I think not having the actual models is good because personally I don't LOVE the Thousand Sons heads anyway... OI! XD 7:04
@GamzaTheEternal Proclamation of Magnus the Red. When Tzeentch will eventually find his crystal staff, he will revert back to his former position as dominant god.
hmm.. well ts have ap3 bolters and my Black Templar have ap5 bolters sweeet.

I like to give them warptime so it's like they are twin linked

@joshk5755 Does "warptime" from the Sorcerer count for his Marines aswell!?!?! I thought it was just the caster

@Drwhiners Accept that Tzeench has a place for all of us in his grand scheme! And be happy in the part you have to play!
