This sounds extremely similar to Indian music: instruments, rhythm, melody and way of singing. This is probably due to Nepal being so close to India.

@iron2max here's the reason why Nepali music is similar to Indian.
In around 330AD, Aryan Licchavis race invaded Kiratdesh(now Nepal) and destroy Kirat Kingdom.
The Aryan Licchavis brought with them their culture, religion into Nepal with them. That's the reason.

and you learn more about Nepal. No way is Nepali music similar to Indian. Kirat have own distinguish culture, languages and religion away from Indian.
