  • Gregg Analla - bhhh funny lastname

  • This does not even approach the definition of progressive.

  • what's up Wayne ? good stuff. I went to school with the guitarist of this band Wayne.

  • Never heard about them, but this is great stuff !!!

  • Where can I get the lyrics to this song?

  • lol buy the cd ;)

  • Yeah obviously, no lyric sites have it. Thanks.

  • love this band

  • Who is that sexy bass player??!! I got me some Jungle Fever!!!

  • Ha ha...that's Philip Bynoe... GREAT bass player!!

I saw him live playing for Steve Vai in 1999.

  • LOL Oh I know. He is my uncle I was just being silly. I thought this was the Band's account. My bad.

    Ethan

  • Ha ha...cool!

  • this is just OK, of course Mark is the King but somehow this doesnt feel like it fits Zonder's style, its just to generic modern sounding, especially those guitars and the singer, Fates Warning was Perfect for him, i dont know why he had to leave the band, im gonna miss him. FW was in a completly different class of musicianship and technicality

  • Completely agree. Musical variety is great, but this is incredibly generic and does not do Zonder's immense talent justice.

  • Crap melodies,RATM has already been done thank you

  • Sounds like a better version of Incubus...and Incubus is pretty good

  • Great performance by Mark Zonder. Interesting to see him using matched grip.

  • I love the hi-hat snare drum work.

These guys could become a super band, they need to be a little more eccentric appearance-wise cause that's just what sells... I mean music-wise could they play better?

    Think KISS

  • Philip Bynoe rules!

    c

  • Very nice. Been waiting to hear something from these guys. Zonder is the man....

  • musically this band wants to have fun but also create new fans and music together. they rock!!!

  • As always, Mark is phenomenal... But there will never be another Fates Warning. I like this, but I'm not really sure that Mark's style is suited to this type of writing. Without the roller coaster that was Fates Warning, in my opinion it just sounds a little too busy.

  • that is so totally right

he is like awesome I AM PROUD TO SAY I KNOW HIM!!!!

  • greg is of finest vocalist around:]

  • The only thing this band lacks is a singer....hire Arch, he is back in the game trying to get back into it......then we would recreate the old Fates

  • you're an idiot

  • and what would bring you to that conclusion asshole, everyone is entitled to their opinion, so pipe it down.

  • why would you want to re create something that already has its place? there is no bigger fates fan than me....but if you're going to say this singer sucks you know nothing about music. There are enough copy cats in the buisness

  • Now....you see, that is a much better response, and I now can respect what you have to say. An opinion is an opinion...It's just when you hear these awesome riffs, you are just waiting for Arch to chime in, or even LaBrie......LOL...I guess after I listen to it a few times it would grow on me, and I'm not saying that they are ill talented, that is the farthest from my mind.

  • I'm sorry. Have you heard the solo project Arch did? Good shit. His voice sounds better than ever

  • I know you posted this over a year ago, but you should really check out some clips of the band Seventh Sign to see what Gregg Analla can REALLY do! I seriously think he's on par with Arch, Labrie or any of those heavy weight "operatic" guys.... Better yet, check out the clips from Mark Zonder's drum clinic....Gregg re-recorded Ray's vocals on 2 old Fates tunes and gives Ray a run for his money.

  • I completely agree with u, there are some dumbs false listeners who are comparing Slavior to Incubus and RATM ??!! come on guys This is dynamic Progressive Metal, modesty apart i am a huge fan of Progressive Metal and i can assure you that Gregg Analla voice i just INCREDIBLE and Zonder has just found a new energy, his playing is just mind blowing, all the band guys ARE PERFECT - A masterpiece, a Chef-d'oeuvre 5 stars the eyes closed :)

  • @Skardeus How the hell can you say that this song doesnt have Incubus style to it?? The vocalist is almost identical to Brandon Boyd style, (or vice versa) and the whole intro has the Incubus feel to it! There isnt a damn thing wrong with Anallas voice, but to denie the similarities your either deaf, or just hate Incubus.

  • @LokiLasher I'm not Deaf, I'm So Old than you in listening to music that i have such a big ?? : where is the similarity between them ! Your Brendan Boyd is just ALL THE TIME SNIVELING IN HIS SINGING and ANNALLAS : Man forget it about it : HE'S JUST UNIQUE, Incubus doing Mainstream Commercial so-called Music to the Teen-agers - SLAVIOR doing INTELLIGENT MUSIC FOR INTELLIGENT PEOPLE : THIS IS ABOUT SERIOUS MUSIC NOT SOME DUMBASSES WHO THINK THAT SNIVELING IS A NEW WAY A SINGING !!! HAIL SALVIOR

  • @Skardeus Ok I get it now....I guess Im so used to people not looking for the intelligent....I guess the Brandon comparison is in the sound, tone and inflections, not what the tune is about...and I wasnt bashing them by any means...Im a Matheos fan so I appreciate intelli music too...thanks for the honest answer!

  • Zonder Rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Very Good! Zonder rocks!

  • badger sadger needs a hug

  • man i so badly want that guitar right now ... i been looking for 7 string with an edge to it ..and its that guitar !!!

  • Wayne, c mon now mang. Why dont you show the folks how you can really shred the neck off that guitar?? Rock on Hyvo

  • Nope... still sucks.

  • fates having a hard time without zonder, but i still wish him good luck because slavior rocks

  • How is Fates possibly having 'a hard time' when they have Bobby Jarzombek on drums? LOL Go see the new Fates live instead of babbling nonsense!

  • SLAVIOR is a band that consist of musicians of the highest caliber. Taking what we know as music and giving it a magical touch that will leave the listener comfortably numb. - The Atomic Chaser

  • Killer! Absoutely Killer, all the way around.
