In America some of the builders are offering steel framed homes where the roofs are stronger in hurricanes, and so are the walls. The walls are made of man made materials and stand up to storms fairly well. many banks here in smaller cities are doing the same thing and the buildings are very sturdy. I like the idea they are using, but would also want a sturdy roof as well.
Regarding the graphics. Only a small point, however, but with this type of modelling software, the viewer doesn't need to see the ENTIRE house; every nut an bolt placed and not at the same pace either, or with the same music. To keep their attention may I suggest you show a few key areas and once they have the general idea of how the panels are assembled, speed the rest up substantially. In addition change the music to something the viewer can recognise and assimilate to. Thank-you.
we build houses like that in the 50`s here in in holland.now whe use prefab concrete sections made in the factory with everything in it(isolation power sockets the whole lot).
I wonder if it is possible to use a small form and do the walls in sections. It would take longer, but then you'd have lots of expansion joints which is good. I always wanted to build a concrete home, i think it would come out to be cheaper and a lot better in the long term.
For the people arguing here, please do it somewhere else. There are probably lots of good comments that could be made but instead you waste space arguing.
Maybe you're right. But, we can build airplanes, transplant organs, land on the moon, go to the bottom of the sea, have over 500 television channels, eat daily, have air conditioning and heat throughout our homes, educate our chilfren and help your sorry ass's out huh?
America and russian got techonolgy for jet planes and rockets from they Germans after WWII. The person who designed the Saturn Rockets was an ex nazi officer captured by the Americans. What America rocks at is its entertainment industry. You guys rock at that.
Btw alot of medical break throughs are really shared among countries like America, Britain, Australia, Canada
Chases. You put in electrical chases. The plumbing goes in the internal walls. Its against building codes to put plumbing into exterier walls. If you want to build concrete homes, check out the ICF option. Better yet, check out the SIP homes. Let me know if you are really interested, and I will give you more options/build you one if you want.
sweet! I'm not planning to actualy build one anytime soon, but I think the technology is awsome!! I think combining it with other technologies such as power production and waste reduction and reprocessing to create a self sufficiant unit is the wave ofthe future!

What an awsome concept!! I bet that these are way more energy efficiant. How do you put in things like electrical wiring and plumbing?
