Ok I have a question. I have a 10 month old maine coon or atleast 3/4 maine coon..Looks and sounds kina like yours. Hes male, but lately he has been wanting to play ALL the time, he has even been ignoring me for 4 days now..does yours do that???
Best place to find a Maine Coon, or any cat for that matter, is the animal shelter. It is a shame, almost a crime, to buy an animal when there are so many waiting for adoption. I got my MC Rambo J. Pussycat at the shelter and he is the light of my life.

I remember the last move we accidentaly packed her in a box and couldn't find her for an hour. We kept on hearing her meow. It drove me insane because I thought she got stuck in the crawl space.
It kinda reminds me of one of my parents' cats, named Silky. Silky gets all "in your face" when somebody's reading the newspaper - he hops onto the table and curls up on it. He's been seen lounging in sinks and prefers to drink water from the faucet instead of a water dish.
