My batch File game "The Cave Adventure"

Hey. Challenging myself to build an awesome text based rpg in batch. It has good menus and some animations. I was looking for help so if any one wants to help me build please reply.

Hey, if you like mazes, why not add colous.exe to your batch file?

I have two tutorials for colous.exe on my channel (1 for flicker-free movement, the other for how to incorporate movement)

It's not hard. It's also real cool!

@TheWinnieston last time I was going to use colous.exe, it had a virus. And when I tried to remove it with Anti-malware bytes, I got the blue screen.

I have scanned it and scanned it, but no virus! Maybe try changing restrictions on AV?

Problem: On my batch file I make it say "Press 1 to open" but when I open the file I can press any button then hit enter to open it. Help me please?

Oh yeah and one more thing, I Iooked at it and have no further interest at all. I wouldn't have "stolen" your game. So don't post there in the description that I'm a thief. Besides, I have a better method of movement anyway.

Of course it works on vista cuz batch is a microsoft windows file that works with all the versions of windows.

@emotionalpunkboy Not neccesarily, Windows changes the specification slightly with each release, certain batch programs I've made with XP no longer work with Vista.

Have you ever tried DarkGDK or DarkBasic professional? They are awesome languages to use for making extremely good games. Especially DarkBasic professional is really easy. Look em up, you might like them. They are by the "game creators".

NICE!@!! One thing though I looked at the code at your website and I saw that if you would put something at the begining that didnt equal 1,2, or 3, it would just go to help.
