Is there anybody who knows the correct way to play this song? I knw Gtr 1 is capoed at the 2nd and plays the 7th chords Gtr 2 the major chords, but it's the chorus that has me stumped. Looking at live performances after the E, Gtr 2 plays an A/C#,(bass note C#), not C#m like evry1seems to do before the D and Dsus2. Altho on the "take the painkiller" C#m sounds better.But what is Gtr 1 playing after the open G shape chord at the 12th?

I like the way this sounds, but when I analyze the lyrics, it makes me think of a girl who's in love with a guy (possibly one of the artists themselves), and since the feelings aren't mutual, she's using sex to try to keep him, "Praying someone feels the same." And the painkiller is how she feels during and after the deed.
