  • To high and to heavy.Period.

  • Dude these Russian helicopters drop like flies.

  • Hate thought Mi-17's

  • Wow, alot of non-heli pilots out there. Coning...seriously. All full scale helicopters "cone" you moron, It has to do with lift and centrifugal forces. the more more mass the more coning on take off and landing. Cannot believe you people who are actually knocking this pilot. Didn't appear to be any loss of life...and to that, I think he is a good pilot. Most people cannot steer a car in the right direction in the snow.

  • MI 8 is one of the most dangerous and unsafe helicopters in the world. That is the trash that the Soviets built trying to match the UH1 (Huey)

  • @duvdevanik

    You're totally right.

  • @duvdevanik no asshole what the soviets built to match a overcome the UH1 was the 24 hind read fucker read you need it

  • was a single engine failure on approach. all you douchebags paying him out when he actually saved their lives by reacting quickly to the situation

  • 23795 people got amused by it so i say its a succes

  • pilot fucked up! pilot error

  • super lucky idiot;)

  • Hay that's a weak crash please do it at 7000 meters next time!!!!

  • What a great training tape! Downwind, density altitude, a tailrotor stall position, possibly out of cg limits, and the chopper's rocking like a ring stall. What else can you do to it?

  • wow!!!

I see a similar helicopter crash

    impresssive!!!

  • Se fodeu no cú, cara!

  • fudeu... fudeu... fudeu... fudeu... fudeu...

  • Absolutely! too heavy, too fast combined with very high density altitude. Blades coning up and settling with power kills many heli pilots.

  • The stupidest thing they did was tell everyone to get out while the rotors are still spinning fast enough to cut a guy in half. And the angle of the rotors due to the missing nose gear meant taht they were even lower.

  • Yeh I noticed that too, they are all pretty lucky they didnt get someones head chopped off...Dummies! I always brief the passengers in the unlikely event of an emergency landing(not a crash) to wait for the rotors to come to a full stop or my specific instructions.

  • when i see this ceash i see it rolling blades flying and a burning craft and all lives lost

  • SAFETY NOTICE - Always reduce rate-of-descent before reducing airspeed ... Seemed like he got into a vortex ring state (settling with power)
