Is it true that during landing Fokker controls throttle thru autothrottle system and it automatically brings it down while flare? Or do pilots disconnect autothrottle to control the engines manually during landing?
@Chuckee737 I don't know much about the technical details, but both pilots was busy with the knobs and levers during landing. Seemed pretty manual to me...
@rup1u5 Thx for fast reply! :) Well that was a reason why I asked, indeed. They were busy with the knobs. At 00:02 you can hear autopilot disengage warning (quite airbus-style:), but I don´t know how it is with autothrottle on Fokker. I mean if it is like B737 - you just switch throttle command to "arm" mode by turning off speed hold mode on main control panel - and the system is armed for use in case of go around - or it is completely different. But nevermind, I´m going to visit uncle Google ;)

@rup1u5 So you are from Budapest? I've been there a few weeks ago, to the Hungarian Formula 1 Grand Prix, was awesome :P Everyday with the metro from Hatar ut to Arpad hid, then the bus to Mogyorod. Wait, why am I talking about this in a aviation video? Ehm... I'm a big fan of both aviation and racing (Formula 1)
yihhaa...ive passed my Pshycometric n phsycomotor test....theres a lot of iQ test..i njoy it...well..ive 2 prpare 4 my medical test...but..i was afraid with my english...myB not good enough isnt it?.....hahaha...hopefully...i can entered that F50,not as a passngers again,but,1 of da pilot..B4 this ive learn a lot of aeronautical knowledge juz from the microsoft game.....but as u can see..myB my both written n spoken was not good enough...we'll see..
rientex, Because of the aviation regulations, during landing and take-off, one of the pilots has to keep it's hand on the power sticks all the time. Usually it should be the pilot who's currently flying the plane but it can also be the other one for example in bad/windy wather conditions etc. It is quite common that the pilot who is flying the plane on the way out their destination, will take care of the navigation & the communication on the way back home and the other one flyes then.

@Chuckee737 The autothrottle system of the Fokker 70/100 aircraft is capable of reducing the throttle to idle when the a/c is reaching the runway.

Actually, the co pilot on the right is piloting the plane here. And the cockpit is in black only when im filming out on the windshield.

is it realy so difficult?
watch the video end read the comment to the right side of it.
the pilot can be seen at the left and the co-pilot to the right. I was sat on the third seat and i stood up when the plane started to land.
