  • on my left crank, there is a gap between the actual greased up bracket and the bottom of the crank itself, leaving an opening with the grease exposed... is this bad? or okay...

  • Lil B would would agree that this video is very based ( swag)

  • Do you really need to use the crank puller? I just loosened the bolt that was on the crank and took it off.

  • Are you trying to tell me that....You pulled your crank with a small tip??? Ok....jokes aside...Does it matter if both crank arms are the same brand (don't ask why) Both I have are 170mm but I want 2 different ones on each side. Is the weighting screwed? Granted they both might be slightly off because 170mm for some reason, due to design, is not uniform. So, I just want to pull of the Non-drive crank arm and replace it.

  • Why does he sound really high? lol He's almost laughing at parts

  • can you tell me what size Allen key to use?

  • @mediocremediocre 8mm i think

  • Duuuude ! U helped me a lot with this Vid! Thanks !

  • which is better, a smaller crankset or a bigger one?

  • Please watch:

  • @grmhustler what riding are you doing?

  • i have the same Allan key set but in red!

  • @devilman662 OH HELL YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • im tired of grear bikes fuck i wanna see videos on bmx

  • Did he say octadrive?

  • ugh my bike is a pos. It has nothing like those.

  • i work at farrs in manchester and i had to fix a bike that had no crank arm the chain was stretched and i had to fix the houing cable on it it took me no more than 30 to 50 minutes

  • something i find a real problem is that the bolt on my left crank arm is normal threading so every time i pedal it is slowly unscrewing the bolt so i have to take an alen key with me every time i ride.

  • Try putting loctite on it.

  • what is that and how much will it cost?

the bike still has the warranty so i might ask them to fix it if its their mistake.

  • If you have a warranty I'd take it to them first. Loctite is cheap (like $5-10) and it adds friction reducing the chance of it unscrewing by itself.

  • @spadoutDOTcom I put loctite on mine, and it still has the issue.

  • Never but loctite on the crank! if you but loctite on it it stay closed for 1 year but once you open it brake all threads. I give this advice to everyone the loctite make it also so hard to tighteng what you whant to do is clean it very propeply and but some oil on it you can tighten it very tight. thumps up so everyone can see this!

  • nice vid! I thought you had to use the crank puller when installing (like doing the backwards process of taking it off) so I was super confused cause nothing worked. Then I saw this and realized it's ridiculously easy to put it back on. anyways thanks!

  • NP and thanks for the feedback!

  • @xxbondsxx I've just gone through that too!

  • @xxbondsxx I've just gone through that too and feel a bit daft!!

    Thanks for the vid, helped.

  • great, helps a lot!thanks.

  • NP!

  • wow thats easier than i thought thanks alot man

  • No problem. If you have any trouble let us know.

  • The crank itself might fit, but you would run into trouble with the rear derailleur. First there's no cable run to make the shift, and second there's no dropout to install the derailleur. I think the ratcheting mechanism would be in the wrong direction too (wheel engages in wrong direction). Might work for a bike with no rear derailleur that had its hub modified.
