So many nostalgiafags in these comments. I've been watching anime since the early nineties and this is fucking terrible, YES, even compared to today's shit. You may hate moe but the fact is that Kyoani's animation is excellent (so good that they animated an episode of Macross, actually), especially compared to this stilted garbage. And OVAs usually have BETTER animation than television series. Also, I could write a better plotline in fucking sleep.

It's not that bad, dude. I've seen much worse one shot ovas from the time and today's moe anime shit really looks bad compared to this. I actually just watched this, it was watchable. Makes me wonder what was the original plans for this... this should have been a full lenght film so we would get more character developement and some background. It felt really rushed

@Assimandelini Virtually every OVA from the 80s was something rushed in which story was second to visuals, this was pretty bad compared to a lot of things and of course it's still better than most anime today. I think a friend of mine has concept art of this anime.

if this four+ minute clip is any indication, this show was pretty bad... he's firing down a hallway at nothing, gets blinded, continues shooting at nothing... takes out a door because it wont open, and WTF was up with that count-down timer? it went from 30 minutes to 20 minutes then poof it was at 10 second and then its like 7,6,5,4,3,2... riiight.

still one of the worst anime....

I tried, I found I just getting bored, it's stupid enough to be so bad it's good, but I the enjoyment I could derive is laughing at how bad it is, which does not feel like compelling fare for me when it comes to so-bad-it's-good stuff.

Oh, it's bad all right. The sad thing is though, as crap as it is, it's just marginally better than fanservice anime titles, but only because those are so shallow, but I think this kept my attention for longer.
