I'm curious, did Ranma and Akane ever get married in this series? I watched I think the entire series and movies 1 & 2 and don't think they ever did. Which is a bummer, mine as well finished it with what the series was pretty much about =/

And by the way their is a lot missing in the show they continued the manga for like 16 more volumes after the show ends so like 20 or 21 from the viz english is where you should start reading.

you know an anime magazine I read back in the day listed Ranma and Akane as one of the 10 greatest romances in anime (don't remember where they placed though) but personally I disagree. I find their personalities to be way to similiar (a believable romance should involve people who are equal yet opposite to each other in order to have effective chemistry and development) and to be honest, akane constantly being on the rag does get annoying after a while

Good grief! Years ago, my friends and I could recite this entire movie line by line. No surprise, I still remember much of it.

Ranma used to be one of my favorite anime series when I was in high school (until I eventually found much better). Still great for a laugh, though.

I like the fact that the first movie still had the original English voice actor for male Ranma. The new guy who took over in later seasons was a poor substitute.
