  • The very last part got cut out here but after haysbusa turns to look at sabu, sabu actually crawls on his knees up to him with his hand out and shakes hayabusa's hand. Respect

  • gotta be weird to wrerstle in silence

  • @HowTingz fkn tell me about it

  • At 5:15 you can hear Sabu tell Busa to duck .

  • if he does return to the ring then he truely is a human Pheonix

  • God I miss FMW. Long live Hayabusa.

  • Very solid stuff from Hayabusa and Sabu here, Japan had such unique promotions in the 90s in my opinion. Being from Detroit (Original Sheik territory) I absolutely love Sabu, and Hayabusa was definitely one of my favorite high flyers (not to mention I found his gimmick to be a bit inspirational in theory.)

  • dam sabu must've fucked up his back real bad from the 450 splash he pulled

  • Japanese fans are AMAZING!!!! Love the silence and then the clapping after every move

  • @ChubbyLuigi In Japan they actually consider wrestling as a REAL sport.

  • What year was this match?

  • he's awesome and all that but i'm not really a big hayabusa fan...Sabu how ever to me is like a god both wrestlers are amazing any way you look at it throw

  • 3 count?

  • @myhungryhippo yeah it looked like Sabu had his right shoulder off the mat at the 2 count but i guess the ref didn't see it

  • Ohhh... my back.

  • Everytime I look for Hayabusa matches on Youtube I keep finding those stupid motorcycle videos! No I do not want to see a hayabusa race a fuckin snowmobile! I wanna see Hayabusa vs. Sabu!

  • Now my back hurts.

  • Sabu = Crazy

    Hayabusa = Awesome

Sabu vs Hayabusa = Crazy Awesome

  • 2:42-2:49 Sabu thought he outsmarted Hayabusa. You can hear Sabu go "Hehe" and then when he gets up and turns around Hayabusa just kicks him away like a mangy dog. Even though it's mean I actually laughed. Anyway good match.

  • You could clearly hear Sabu tell Hayabusa to duck, then Sabu says "oh my back".

  • lololololol 5:16 "duck"

  • I never heard sabu scream in pain Go Hayabusa

  • any1 else hear sabu say "oh my back"?

  • This got 2 b early 90's... AMAZING! WWE still can't put on a high flying match even remotely near this til today!

  • the crowd is so quiet

  • @TheKornbred86

In Japan the crowd are quiet during the match as a show of respect to the wrestlers so generally most noise is only made before and after the match.

  • wow sabu really fucked himself up after that 450 attempt through the table...

  • @mieloco i love how the table broke before he got to it...

  • Hayabusa's a good man

he knew Sabu hurt his back so he gave a move on his shoulder and put him down then did a that awesome finisher off the top and he mostly landed on his knees to protect Sabu. That's what wrestlers should protect each other as much as possible.

  • great match very great

  • Gotta say the 80's aint the golden age of wrestling its the 90's, in US the monday nite wars are raging, in Japan we have awesome matches and spots, in Mexico new stars were being created, and in UK technical wrestling was at its best, now all we get is a shitty show (Raw) and another one copying it (impact), in Japan the great guys passed their prime and in Mexico its nothing now than just a spotfest

  • I didn't know about this match! Thanks a LOT dude...

  • where can i get this match on dvd

  • @cynda11 Highspots or FYE or Ebay

  • @razorafterdeath it was never released on dvd on us

  • 4:54... poor sabu, and no one can understand him as their all japanese.

  • a complete dream match.

along with the rvd/sabu vs shinzaki/hayabusa at heatwave 98 match.

two must sees for any fan of REAL wrestling!!

  • @DKvsLow Love that match.

  • 2:47......Sabu got owned

  • 4:30

in the words of joey styles "AH MY GADD!!"

  • wow. i think hayabusa is possibly the best i've ever seen. he outshines everybody because his execution is so flawless.

  • sabu is still a star, and he was a legend in the actual original ECW and I'm only 21 and I know that,Sabu can still go and WWE's creative team sucks, because their on the road for a good 350 days of the year if not more than that, and the have been watering down great wrestlers abilities ,and what they stand for,and if a superstar disagrees they give them the option on staying or wanting their pink slip

  • tough crowd! that crowd was completely silent unless they did something amazing and they only made a noise for about two seconds! i say Sabu and Hayabusa should've been bigger stars then they were in wrestlin. ECW combined with the WWE too late in Sabu's career for him to be that big of a star.

  • At that era in Japan it was considered rude to cheer for the wrestlers cause it might distract them so that's why it was such a silent crowd.

  • oooooooh! well american's would get jumped if they went to this thing!

  • Yeah probably if they cheered every time a flip was pulled off like they do in American promotions lol.

  • thats just the way FMW crowds were. it didnt matter who was wrestling. they still bought tickets

  • JAPAN is EXTREME !

  • can you post the entire match some day? its hard to find hayabusa matches anymore...

  • is it just me or did hayabusa got kind of pissed off because he didn't want the match to end that way?

  • 5:15 sabu"duck or fuck" LOL

  • Duck

  • No he isnt. He is good... He just lost...

  • sabu is the toughest son of a bitch ever. seriously.

  • 2:55 holy shit.

  • Hey when was this exactly?

  • Don't really know.

    Sorry

  • how tha hell did that match end, Sabu so kicked out of that. What a crock Sabu got screwed!

  • They had to stop it, Sabu was seriously hurt in this bout.

  • I have never heard Sabu yell in pain like that b4. That's fuckin amazin w/all tha shit he has done

  • Did Sabu really do a 450 at 4:30?

  • yes it looked like one didnt it?

a SPRINGBOARD 450...through a table...gee i wonder who else but sabu. all these new indy high flyers and all these dudes you see in TNA and WWE they got their shit from sabu

  • 6:01 that crowd sounded shock by that SSP. It's like the 1st time they've ever seen that move. Did Hayabusa debut that move that night or something?

  • The Crowd always reacts like that, It's just there are no commentators to draw your attention away from it

  • @shiningwizard327 Actually, Hayabusa used to do that move long before this match. However, there was an instance when he fought Mike Awesome where he botched the SSP and I think he herniated a vertebral disc, so he stopped doing it for the longest time.

  • hayabusa said he wants to wrestle one more match. he's probably the only person i believe will after a broken neck. Long live hayabusa, the bird that never dies!!!

  • @rockleefan98 um sabu broke his neck too and he still wrestles... occasionally

  • @rockleefan98 um sabu broke his neck, tazz broke his neck

  • @G0LARAMA : i thought "the murderer"(oops, i mean "the crippler") chris benoit broke sabu's neck?

  • @knowatimean benoit broke his neck with an overhead t-bone suplex first, and tazz broke sabu's neck with a dragon-plex through a table a few years later

  • @G0LARAMA there are different definitions of breaking your neck. Sabu and Austin did not break their necks in a similar fashion to Hayabusa. His was way more severe as illustrated by him paralysed for life.

  • @rockleefan98 Sabu broke his neck twice and still went on to wrestle many matches.

  • great match two excellents wrestlers.

    hayabusa was the FMW soul

  • 1.sabu

    2.hayabusa

busa got injurdand cant ever wrestle anymore...

    one of the best

  • He's not wrestling, never will again.

  • He said he will once more... But I wouldn't say it would be any time soon

  • awesome match! but why do they cut some parts out? man i want to watch this match entirely. whats with the cut out parts? :(

  • wow great match

  • That is why I like japanese wrestling. The audiance is quiet, no over the top announcers. That makes for an even more entertaining match.

  • BJW isn't exactly quiet without announcers, but I don't know what they are saying.I agree with you about your points in this match.

  • I have to disagree. I like over excited announcers. They get me more excited about what's going on in the ring.

  • sabu and hayabusa r so alike with theier style this makes a great match

  • no commentators barley any audience talking.

  • thts japanese wrestlin for u

  • no commentaory wtf

  • it looked like sabu kicked out of the flying moonsault

  • I agree with smithyweremanjanson. It looked like Sabu kicked out at the end. That pin was kinda sloppy because of that. IDK if it was a miscommunication or what.

  • ya u can tell it was a mistake just by the look on Sabu's face when they rag the bell.

  • wat year was this

  • i didnt no sabu could do a 450

  • yea, shooting star as well

  • iv never seen him do 1 before that

  • How can Sabu even move after attempting that move crashing threw the table to the concrete?

  • This was the match the match where Sabu fucked up his back and tore up his knee.

  • Two of the greatest highflyers in one ring. Thanks for the upload!

  • yea sabus in AAA

  • lol sabu oh my back my BACK!!

  • lol

  • If only they can fuse together then we have SAYABUSA or HABU

  • hahahaha that's so funny

  • lol Sabu and Hayabusa look the same and they do the same ind of moves and they both hardcore lol

  • it to bad all the wrestlers quit fmw top go to /new japan /zero one/war/ dragon gate wrestling so fmw had to close down.

  • Both Sabu & Hayabusa must be one of the best wrestlers in the world!

  • none of them wrestles anymore, wich is a loss for wrestling 4 sure

  • i thought sabu was wrestling in mexico

and hayabusa doesnt have a choice

  • hmm i duno bout sabu, but sure is the hayabusa will never wrestle anymore, shame.

  • Sabu is wrestling in Independent promotions across the US and Mexico.

  • oh yeah

and he worked the last gathering too

    hes on bloodymania

  • I think Sabu wrestles in a independent promotion in mexico called AAA lol.

  • yeah he is

  • AAA is a pretty good promotion in my opinion

  • lol, did anyone hear sabu's groans of "ow my back"

  • What time in the vid was it, and I like your ICP name.

  • your the first person to recognize my name from icp, despite the fact that i dont like them. anyway, to hear it just wait till the bit with the table and listen closely as sabu tries to get back up....

  • Lol I heard the song at a friends house, I like Death Metal not rap but somehow I remembered it xD. Anyways thanks for the help and merry christmas.

  • yea i heard it.

  • Must be the first time I have seen Sabu break Kayfabe. lol

  • @Frank15982 Sabu actually breaks kayfabe a lot. There are plenty of matches where you can hear him shouting words in fluent American. Have you ever seen the Sabu/Terry Funk No Ropes Barbwire Match? He keeps saying, "My arm, my fucking arm." This and that match though are probably the two most prime examples. Of course, now he's actually done promos on TV where he's spoken, so yeah, his kayfabe was broken since his glory days in ECW, lol.

  • @6Psycho6Soldier6

Well now that I've seen more of his matches, I've been able to hear. It's just that its much easier to hear it in his FMW matches, because the Japanese crowd is dead silent throughout most of the match.

  • @Frank15982 Yeah it's not nearly as noticeable as it is in these matches. Over in Japan its a lot easier to hear them say things, which is probably why Sabu got caught saying "Duck."

  • @6Psycho6Soldier6

I like it though (the quietness). It makes for a cool atmosphere. ANd when they pull off a big move, to hear the crowd go "OOAAAHHH!" Priceless.

  • @Frank15982 Agreed. That's the best part, especially cause you can hear their accent, and unfortunately it sounds so stereotypical haha. Much respect to the japanese fans though.

  • Awesome stuff!!!

Hayabusa is my all-time favorite wrestler!!!

  • does FMW have a smaller ring than WWE and TNA (square one)because this ring seems smaller

  • where are the FMW video games!?!

  • i dunno ive heard there was some on NES, but i havent seen em. but fire pro returns for ps2 has a bunch of fmw wrestlers.

  • The one FMW game I have played was for SNES and was a piss poor Street Fighter clone.

  • they should make some new FMW games for Wii with explosion matches and stuff

  • The Wii? Come on, not that hunk a shit. And yes fuck guitar hero I don't care only losers play that game and think they can play an instrument. As for the game it should go on PS2 or Xbox perhaps.

  • i guess PS2 then

  • BSE!!!

    best Shooting Star ever!!!!!

    HAYABUSA lives!!!!

  • Best Shooting Star ever? Pffft..

  • ah! im with RossSewage on that one. With all due respect to Hayabusa, his Shooting Star's were way too sloppy and usually didnt get his belly downwards till the end

  • I think Matt Sydal is a contender for Best SSP. The hang time he gets is unreal.

  • Have to agree with that. I hope he gets the chance to use it on WWE... :/

  • hey come on.you know who was a originator

    of Shooting Star press?

    Jushin Liger was.

show your respect to this maneuver

    and japanese wrestlers.

without that young american wrestlers couldn't

    get best SSP.

  • Ouch Sabu got hurt after the table incident. I mean like really bad. You can clearly hear him saying "oh my gosh" in 04:54.

It was a good match anyways.

  • 5:14-5:15 u can hear sabu say "duck' referring to the clothesline he was about to deliver and i clearly heard "duck" not "back"

  • I saw Sabu here in Puerto Rico (2 weeks ago), He is Fighting in the local WCW , as a guest or something. He`s hardcore.

  • This was a great match, but nothing more or less than a spotfest. Awesome spots, as Sabu did the springboard 450 to the outside even though it was botched. I think he ment to do a springboard somersault legdrop, but he over shot it. Both Hayabusa and Sabu were my top aerial guys in the sport, even tho Sabu seems to botch many of his spots. Then again, name someone who is crazy to do what Sabu does? That's why he is a king.

  • Jack Evans. Thats someone who's as crazy as sabu, maybe more. Double moonsault from the top of a cage to the outside, thats insane. ROH ROH ROH.

  • no this was when sabu left fmw to wrestle in ecw full time

  • I assume this was why Heyman fired him from ECW the first time.

  • They r both very good, but hayabusa is a better aerial acker!

  • how come the fans didnt react so much?

  • in japan wrestling is respected as a sport and an art. not like here in our states, they're also quiet during metal concerts as it is HIGHLY respected to be a musician.

  • ppl the match is in hayabusa's backyard japanapa land

sabu is a legend no doubt!

  • awsome match bw 2 awsome wrestlers hyabusa and sabu kick major ass!!!!

  • thats cool you can here the wrestlers communicating durring the match

  • Silks, you are a fucking idiot.. he put Hayabusa over after Hayabusa and Hakushi put RVD/Sabu over in ECW!!!

  • sabu is so sloppy. And yeah, i bet his back hurt kinda bad. That's why they ended it so quickly

  • Hayabusa Kicked Sabu's Ass

  • Sabu can't live without chairs.

  • no commentary? boo.

  • SABU KICKS TONS OF ASS!!!
