  • Thank you for posting this. I will be facing the loss of my father in a few years. It's nice to know what will happen and that his body will be treated respectfully.

  • Great video, just absolutly good.

  • american attitude. LOL. What about Canada and Mexico lol

  • Everyone should make it a point to visit a cemetary at least once a month. It gives you a perspective on life. You have to beat life because you wont beat death.

  • That was a nice little documentary :) Thanks!

  • Funeral processions on public roads are an increasingly bad idea. In our community we have had several wrecks, at least one fatal, that were caused by funeral processions on the road. These processions are lawsuits looking for a place to happen if the procession tries to claim right of way over other traffic on the road.

  • @Kundry That's a shame & a sign of the times. I was brought up & taught when I learned to drive you never interrupt a funeral procession they have the right of way.

  • They didn't mention the importance of a grave vault is that a coffin placed

in a grave alone will soon rot & drop in. The soil of the grave compacts

down and sinks in, and even heavy tombstones can literally collapse and

    fall into the sunken grave.

I was caretaker of a country graveyard for several years and saw this

happen many times. Years ago just rough lumber would be placed over

a coffin and earth piled on top. When it rotted the tombstone would tip

    over & look awful.
