  • I feel so tragically alone in my generation loving the original 60's Johnny Quest series. If I aska nyone my age about Johnny Quest, they either say "That show from the 80's?" or even sadder "You mean Johnny Test?". I never knew a documentary on it existed. Thank you so much for uploading this!

  • This is classic animation, it's a lot better than the crap you see nowadays.

  • Nice job dude. Johhny Quest was my favorite show, & it still holds up. What do think about Justin Beiber playing Johhny in a live action film? I think he's perfect.

  • Love the Jazz Sound tracks of this series.

  • Nice work. Very impressive. What happened to a couple episodes near the end. 24 and 26 I think were missing.

Have you done any other videos?

  • Where on your blog is the link for the download?

  • Best cartoon of ALL TIME ever created hands down!

  • Indeed. We will never see such mind-blowing excellence ever again. We now descend upon the life of regulated, fucked-around, dumbed-down bullshit. Perhaps there will now, after our catastrophe of 2008-present, be a new wave of creation.

    But i don't think so.

  • I think this was made well after the 60s - the animation looks too new.

  • Classic - even though it could be racist. product of the 60s

  • My favorite cartoon! This show puts any current cartoons to shame!

  • I dated Jade back when she was just another Kowloon B-Girl...

  • Oh boy! Flash animation!

  • I was born in 1988 and Jhonny quest was my favorite show. I mean its not like it was exclusive for your time, they still showed the good shows during the 90's.

  • "If you were a kid back in 1964", I was. (age 6) " and you had a tv set "--- Boy, I remember we waited for that night and watched that debut showing of Jonny Quest. It was all we had hoped for as kids, cool !!

  • Great doc! I catch JQ on Boomrrang every night.

Oddly enough, they showed the "Devil's Tower" episode for the first time. I wonder why they are only now including it in the rotation. Anyone know?

  • Best opening theme of all time.

  • You will walk like Race Bannon, You will talk like Race Bannon, You will BE! Race Bannon...

  • Simply outstanding. Too bad this couldn't be released officially.

  • Put me right back as a kid again..Thank You !!

  • 1964 I was 7 years old I ran home to watch abc tv to this show. My Dad liked it too. The 1960s was fun time to be a kid. Today kids never had it so good. Jonny Quest was the Best.

  • Thrilling! Thank you for documenting the originas of this American treasure.

  • EXCELLENT. Thank you for doing this!

  • Jonny Queat was, and still is my all time favorite TV show. Thnaks for posting this

  • in 1964 I was a fan of this show. It was like nothing else there had ever been on t.v. I am sorry the werewolf, loch ness, and grey alien episodes were never made. For some raunchy comic relief, check cartoon network's "Venture Brothers".

  • Oh this is insane... this is the best documentary I have ever seen on television of the era, involving the greatest animated program ever created and I can't get a copy of it transfered to DVD. I want to get the entire documentary on DVD and watch it on my giant ass tele over and over again. Please make this available to us.

  • Watching these in 1970, they were still the kewlest toon on TV.

  • This is awesome!

  • This is the alpha and omega of carton animation specials. Love it (though I dropped out around part 18 or so, on first viewing).

  • @avs002 I hear you loud and clear! Never grew up.

  • If you are a fan of animation, YOU'VE GOTTA WATCH THIS!!!

  • cool!!!
