Wish I new you before, I own the NYC little palette and the CG shadow blast and hate them, I'm pretty new to makeup and I thought it was just me that didnt know my stuff lol. Thanks
I feel like you waste so much money on drugstore makeup just trying to find products that work for you. You can't swatch the shadows, you can't match yourself to foundation, you can't apply the lipstick/gloss to your lips. You never know if it's going to work for you. I feel like you can invest in one good product from a high end line (Mac, Bobbi Brown, Stila, Urban Decay, etc...) instead of playing the guessing game with drugstore brands. I've made the switch from doing that.
@iLoveeYouu4Evrx33 Those are the caps that you put on their nails to keep them from clawing on stuff...like her nice leather chair. I tried those and ended up with mega scratches. Fail. =(
@lvhmsgirl96 Yeah, I'm thinking the one she got was a dud. Everytime I see them, the base looks creamy, and the fact the highlight is falling out just makes me think it was a mishap.

I do like Cover Girl lip glosses, they are moisturazing and non sticky, did get enough color from it, did not expect that they would be rich in color, because they are lip glosses.
I didn't like liquid eye liner from NYC, it looks chucky on your eyes, dries and just look bad.
the nyc costum eyes pallete is really good! some times they ship out old packages and it is bad! the one my mom has is very good! I recently got an idea that i took out all of the eye shadow i hat and put it in a container. then it was out of my face but if i needed face paint, i had it

Oh my gosh. We have like the same ears and I am so afriad to show my ears because they stick out some and have been called big ears (even though they are not that big) since I was in 1st grades so its been 13+ years and still today I get made fun of.. have you ever been made of fun of cause of them? If so, how did you over come it? Please help :(
@Nepenning I think her ears are fine! Which means yours are too!! Don't worry about your ears so much because chances are, you're the only one that really notices. The people who tease you are probably only doing it to joke around, but if it really bothers you, you need to tell them to stop! Don't worry...There are much bigger issues than ear size, I promise :)

I agree cover girl shadow blast is not a good product. I bought one and it broke off after 2 uses. Bought another one to replace it and had to throw it out. There are many other cover girl products I do like.
I'm so glad for negative reveiws, there are a lot of gurus who don't want to say anything bad about a product lest they be critisized by those who like it. Personally I enjoy watching regret buy videos because if I think that the product mentioned would be the same for me as the reveiwer I won't waste my money on it, and for things like mascara, my lashes are pretty much opposite of Emily's which means that when she says it won't do a thing for her kind of lashes it might work for mine!
I agree with the Union Square palette. The highlighter in mine started out so soft it was squishy and gooey. After a couple weeks it started drying too. The purple, the tan and the sparkly dark brown I use on occasion for a darker purple-y eye.. otherwise I dislike it.
I completely agree with the Covergirl Shadow Blast sticks. OMG! They crease so bad and smear all over the place. I bought 2 of them a while back and used them once...now they are just taking up space in my drawer lol

Yes! The smokey shadow blast was terrible!! I got it for a dance and luckily I put some shadow over it and it stayed for pictures, but it broke when i tried to use it again! Horrible!

When people say "I'm not going to waste your time reviewing bad products" it's probably because they receive compensation for videos or free products and don't want companies to be wary of them and stop giving them money and free things. Because I think we ALL know 'products that suck' are the MOST interesting videos.
I got that from NYC I've never had that problem before. But I did get one for blue eyes which looks good on me though. Knew that there was a reason why I've never bought that smokey eye stuff.
all wet´nwild mascaras are like that.. theyre too think and wet:( but they are good for applying over your mascara by the end of the day to make it look fresh:)
I think with this rounder/natural-toned eyeshadow look (less v-shaped than how you do your eye makeup now) you look kind of like Robin from How I Met Your Mother!

the covergirl smokey shadow blast does suck by itself but if u take a little bit and put it on half of ur lid and blend it out with a brush then put a powder eyeshadow over it ur eyeshadow will last a long time

artliner in black is a lot better then the linear intense. doesnt flake, doesnt smudge, linear intense has a thicker handle & brush thing which makes for difficult application (less control) artliner black is just better, linear intense is a cheaper alternative but the quality of the product is not comparable to artliner
I have that nyc custum eye compact and it works just fine for me i like the illuminator the primer not so much but i actually like it. But I do understand we all have diffrent skin and what not.

I went on the Rimmel London website and they dicontinued the powder foundation. I guess people really didn't like it. I really liked it for a nice natural look. I am sad they discontinued it. :(

I have the smokey shadow blasts and I totally agree. I'll put them on and apply a sheer powder or powdered eyeshadows in the same shade on top and they still crease. I'm not happy with them at all. The only time I ever use them is sometimes I'll use the thin end to line my upper lashes with a thin line of color and then I'm alright, but otherwise everything gets so smudged and messed up!!
I have the same NYC palette. Except I love mine! The base and highlighter are both creamy and the eyeshadows are very pigmented so hm weird how some peoples highlighter fell out and stuff. Maybe it was an old batch, but anyways love your vids!

I really like my clear CG ShineBlast gloss. I didn't feel that it was "oily" - felt very smooth to me. I actually like the fact that it wasn't sticky, as I really dislike putting sticky gloss on and feeling like I have to 'unpeal' my lips due to 'stickyness'. Just wanted to put that out there for those women who like gloss but want, I guess, the smooth, I-didn't-just-glue-my-lips-together feel - ShineBlast is perfect for that (although, yes, they are definitely sheer).
Ignore the negative comments emily..this video is so helpful because this is saving me so much money because I will not buy the products you mentioned here because I trust your great and honest reviews..:)

I think with this rounder/natural-toned eyeshadow look (less v-shaped than how you do your eye makeup now) you look kind of like Robin from How I Met Your Mother!

the covergirl smokey shadow blast does suck by itself but if u take a little bit and put it on half of ur lid and blend it out with a brush then put a powder eyeshadow over it ur eyeshadow will last a long time

artliner in black is a lot better then the linear intense. doesnt flake, doesnt smudge, linear intense has a thicker handle & brush thing which makes for difficult application (less control) artliner black is just better, linear intense is a cheaper alternative but the quality of the product is not comparable to artliner

I have that nyc custum eye compact and it works just fine for me i like the illuminator the primer not so much but i actually like it. But I do understand we all have diffrent skin and what not.

I went on the Rimmel London website and they dicontinued the powder foundation. I guess people really didn't like it. I really liked it for a nice natural look. I am sad they discontinued it. :(

I have the smokey shadow blasts and I totally agree. I'll put them on and apply a sheer powder or powdered eyeshadows in the same shade on top and they still crease. I'm not happy with them at all. The only time I ever use them is sometimes I'll use the thin end to line my upper lashes with a thin line of color and then I'm alright, but otherwise everything gets so smudged and messed up!!

I have the same NYC palette. Except I love mine! The base and highlighter are both creamy and the eyeshadows are very pigmented so hm weird how some peoples highlighter fell out and stuff. Maybe it was an old batch, but anyways love your vids!

@pepper391 i know, right?! i like emily so much better when she first started and before she got addicted to bronzers and tanning products lol. she has a video without her makeup on and i admire how beautiful her face is. emily looks a lot prettier with less makeup on. i just hope she doesn't look like this when running errands lol

I really like my clear CG ShineBlast gloss. I didn't feel that it was "oily" - felt very smooth to me. I actually like the fact that it wasn't sticky, as I really dislike putting sticky gloss on and feeling like I have to 'unpeal' my lips due to 'stickyness'. Just wanted to put that out there for those women who like gloss but want, I guess, the smooth, I-didn't-just-glue-my-lips-together feel - ShineBlast is perfect for that (although, yes, they are definitely sheer).
