Yes has got to be the most musically adept rock band of all time. It's unprecedented to have that much talent concentrated into a single band. I love the slightly jazzier topspin they put on this live version of the song.
@MrAdultmoviestar Show yourself playing an incredible song, such as this, in 40 years, on-stage, in front of people. I wonder who will be saying the same thing then.
Todays music is complete and utter garbage compared to this. Tell me, why isn't this band in the Rock and Roll Hall????...and some damn rap (crap) artist is...along with Donna Summer...what a travesty
This has GOT to be the BEST version of this song. Wakeman and Howe are in perfect form. And Jon - what can you say about Jon other than he can sing this song in Lugano like he did in the studio all those years ago. This IS Yes!
Is this beautiful music, or what? I remember the first time I heard them as a kid, it was a revelation. The stuff today, well here and there there's something, but... I guess it's hard to get a group of luminaries like this together. Seems like most of what I hear I've heard before. But, "I still remember the dream there">
Remarkable live mix, without the drums blaring everything out as is usually the case for bands, which just creates a chaotic rumble making it difficult for the audience to discern the various instruments and melodies, harmonies, etc. Fantatic. Who the hell mixed them? Why can't all live music have this clarity?
Timeless? Why not! * A Beautiful song, and gorgeous, graceful performance, Jon Anderson still has that choir-boy voice, ever able to soar and pierce; and Chris Squire ever able to pick, rumble, thump and whap(sp?) on his bass.....No musician myself, aren't/isn't "Yes" credited for artful musicality and mastery of complex rhythm's and "beats" etc? I remember hearing a renowned contemporary bass virtuoso credit "Yes" for groundbreaking rhythm-work.... yes?
esta canción si la mantienen bien, está igual y quizá hasta mejor que en antiguas presentaciones, aquí jon anderson no parece tener problemas con los tonos :)
I still remember the time you said 'Goodbye'!!....Didn't really tell lies....another in a long line of good tunes to himm and sing to.

Jon seems immortal. He sounds just like he did in his 20's. How many singers can say that?

They're not in the R&R Hall of Fame? That truly is a mistake.

@mknomad5 Unfortunately, the hall has a thing about line up changes.

What's amazing is for as old as these guys are they can still hold those great harmonies. Especially Jon Anderson.

Howe getting a nice jazz feel on the hollow body guitar. The great master of the guitar.

Is it just me, or does Jon sound BETTER here? Idk, maybe I'm nuts but he just sounds like he got better as he got older.

Is that Bruford or White?

Alan White !

It's White. Bruford left in 72, and only rejoined for the Union tour.

Sounds great, but the main bass hook is missing, which was one of the best parts of the song!

Great sound, like I said somewhere before, old soldiers never die.
I still remember: the times I listen to this song, sounds almost the same as then, only they have seem to grow......
