@ralphinio4 No. If you use one time and one time only, you will not go through withdrawals afterwards. Even if you do it a couple times, maybe 3or4 even, you wont experience withdrawals. However, you CAN become addicted after that very first time though... if you have the disease of addiction. And believe me, addiction is a disease. So just remember that when you grab that first needle.

@ralphinio4 No, you don't get that from using once. It takes about 3 weeks to get a physical dependency. But some people can get psychologically 'hooked' pretty much right off the bat.
@dopesickjoel , reason i ask is I've been dabbling recently, mostly due to depression and unemployment. The weird thing is, i get a great buzz from it (shooting), but then leave it for a week and don't crave it. Also, I notice I only really do it after drinking. I know i've got a tiger by the tale though and your vids remind me of this, it can't solve any of my problems and could become my greatest problem. Hope ur well.
This is so good to see.. After watching docs like Black Tar Heroin. It's amazing to see someone who's getting out of the cycle of drug dependence. It must be the hardest thing in the world. I've never tried hard drugs, but I've been alcohol dependent, and waking up with no booze and feeling like you're actually going insane. The physical and mental feelings of withdrawal make you want to kill yourself and you think you'll never feel better. Good luck Joel, I hope your story has a happy ending :)

When you've been using opiates and stop, your natural pain blockers are not effective enough, there is a backlash, there is real withdrawal. normally,your natural opiates will keep you from being hypersensitive. but when you quite opiates, you feel raw, sensitive to every little thing, until things balance themselves out.

@thekronix421 actually heroin can stay in your system for 5days i know this because i hadnt touched anything other than my meth for 4days and still failed urine test,after 7days i passed i think it varies depending on body fat,dosage and how long you have been using.
Trust me, you will be positive for more than 5 days if you shoot heroine everyday for 20 years. You probably won't have it out of your system before 8 months or something. I've been smoking weed for 2 years now (a few times a week) and now I have taken a break of 4 months, and my urine is not even clean yet, so i guess it'll be in my blood for a much longer period of time.
Actually, marijuana stays in your system for about 30 days or something. Crack and Heroin only stay in your [urine] for 3 days. I am on methadone and I know exactly how long it takes.

I wondered if there are any studies which show whether pot is actually useful in treating withdrawal symptoms from heroin and other drugs. I'm a huge anti-pot advocate but the number of people I have seen around the internet who swear by it as an aid to withdrawal symptoms is making me start to wonder if maybe there is something that application. Can anyone link me to any? I also wonder if anyone has any info about the prevalence of people going on to pot dependence after using it to detox?
I've had a problem w/ something that isn't half as bad as what this guy is going through but I have degenerative disc disease & I've been on Tramadol for a while, ran out about 4 days early..this has happened before & during those few days it can get BAD. Mostly pain anxiety & crankiness, I've never taken any drug for recreation, just for pain, & it stinks, so far not so bad I can still function, just back stiffness & being cranky so not as bad as this man.

Even through the excruciating pain that is withdrawl, you know, goosepimple bones for a week, diarrhea for a week and a half, headaches, basically death. The hardest part of being a junkie is dealing with it when you've been clean for 1-2 months and your bored stiff thinking to yourself, why did I kick inthe first place life is shit when you're sober and it's shit when you're high. So why not call an old junkie pal and run rampant for however long. There's always the prison that is methadone.

u need to see a doc to get some scripts to help you (obviously no narcotics)....Nuerontin, clonodine, and ibuprofen 800mg can really help with withdrawal...pot helps as well...I know I may get shit for saying this, but if you have no history of benzo abuse, benzodiazapines can really help with opiate withdrawal.

I wondered if there are any studies which show whether pot is actually useful in treating withdrawal symptoms from heroin and other drugs. I'm a huge anti-pot advocate but the number of people I have seen around the internet who swear by it as an aid to withdrawal symptoms is making me start to wonder if maybe there is something that application. Can anyone link me to any? I also wonder if anyone has any info about the prevalence of people going on to pot dependence after using it to detox?

I've had a problem w/ something that isn't half as bad as what this guy is going through but I have degenerative disc disease & I've been on Tramadol for a while, ran out about 4 days early..this has happened before & during those few days it can get BAD. Mostly pain anxiety & crankiness, I've never taken any drug for recreation, just for pain, & it stinks, so far not so bad I can still function, just back stiffness & being cranky so not as bad as this man.

I quit heroin, methadone, oxy's, fentanyl, morphine, opanas, dilaudid, etc.....its all shit. demons. it all sucks to get off of, and stay off of. but its possible. this video gives me hope, i am not alone. havent shot up since 2007. 5 years now. took me a couple years to stop eating and snorting but i did it. In my case, i went to a festival n ate a bunch of acid and camped out for 4 days dopesick. i noticed how many people went thru their days happy, content, with no needles. never did it again

I was using heroine more than 20 years. Also, take fentanyl, methadone , opium and every shit what I can reach. When i recognize that 7g is enough to pass a day(have only flash), concluded that it must be stopped.1 year passes in physical crisis (every day was the same) and 1year in connecting the brain.Now I am free, smoke maryjuana , or hash.

Even through the excruciating pain that is withdrawl, you know, goosepimple bones for a week, diarrhea for a week and a half, headaches, basically death. The hardest part of being a junkie is dealing with it when you've been clean for 1-2 months and your bored stiff thinking to yourself, why did I kick inthe first place life is shit when you're sober and it's shit when you're high. So why not call an old junkie pal and run rampant for however long. There's always the prison that is methadone.

u need to see a doc to get some scripts to help you (obviously no narcotics)....Nuerontin, clonodine, and ibuprofen 800mg can really help with withdrawal...pot helps as well...I know I may get shit for saying this, but if you have no history of benzo abuse, benzodiazapines can really help with opiate withdrawal.
