Mine would bring their slobbery toys into my bed at night. We have to put them up. I have woke up with my nose stuck in a stinking toy! Some sharing is baaaad

Thats so funny! I grew up with a Dachshund named Katie and she used to do that! It would make me laugh! We had to put her down though three years ago (very sad), but I just bought a little boy dachshund yesterday. He is dappled and I named him Marley!

this is so like our dachshund dax he always sleeps with either a toy, or a bit of his blanket in his mouth, our vet told us it reminds them of being a puppy with there mum, and that they do it for comfort xx

I guess thats cause they are like us, we always seem to reform back to what comforted us when we were little. Thats cute! I just bought a puppy weiner dog and I love them! I grew up with one so its no suprise to me how they have so many human charictaristics. lol.

My doxie does this! When she's on heat she's especially bad! She picks one toy and that's her baby. If she gets up for a drink she will leave it on my lap and rush back to retrieve it, hehehe.

I love this little darling good natured dog, she is beautiful! I have been  watching her for a long time now, my 8 year old likes to see her eating the veggie bone lol! too sweet!!
