You gotta consider why he's crying, yes, he stops and starts only when he knows he's being seen and LOOKS contrived, BUT his cry sounds like he's both hungry and tired and he NEEDS his someone's help. What if the poor little guy has a headache and it only feels good when he puts his head down. He doesn't know how to fix it himself, so he trying to get SOMEONE's attention. Almost as bad as my niece Katie used to be like. When she had temper tantrums (quite violent, lol) she'd lie next to someone (usually me), scream and kick them until she got whatever she wanted. Her favourite word (aged 2) was "No!". She seems to like me more now that she's 12 years old, but as a toddler she seemed to hate me with a passion.
