Not trying to knock anyone who gets ferrets cus they are cute lil things, and my father in law had one, but i dont get it. They have such a short life span, and so many problems with diesies I dont get why people would want to get attached to an animal they know will live such a short rime. I have a dog and i love that thinig to death and i dread the day she passes, would hate to think she would already be gone not just halfway thorugh
My ferret named puppy died recently. We gave him away to a friend because we were never home and we knew he would be happy. He was there for about 4 months and he had a little friend named Zeda and she looked almost like him. I started having second thoughts about my mom giving him away and right when I went to have the talk with my mom she got a phone call from the person we gave puppy to. She said that Zeda had passed and also Puppy they both got a virus and died in there sleep.<33 puppy
sorry thats a rough break, my little female albino black eyed almost died from eating a chunk of matress the size of my fist. we got her to the vet but she managed to pass the blockage, they gave her a laxative to pass the rest. ever since then she has been the suckiest, sweetest ferret ever, and before that she was the evil hideous bitch goddess of death lol anyways im sorry to hear about your ferret, thats really sad, great video lots of awesome pics, they weasel there way into your heart.

Me and my wife was looking for some thing to brighten up our home.. So we decided to go looking for a small dog and soon as i walked into the pet shot there He was all curled up and ever since then he has touched my heart.. and when i watched this video it makes me hold him closer to me and care even more for him This video touched me thanks

I had a ferret who I saved from a yard sale and at first my family said who could warm up to a rat. Then he made his way into the family and died a few years later my whole family was upset beyond words. I got a new ferret now and value every day we have together, this one was bought at a store and makes the funny noises he is also very cleaver he could never replace my lost ferret but its a great pet and tiny friend to have I am a better person becoming a animal lover

My ferret Bollinger, couldn't walk so I gave him a little Karo syrup,which put him back up on his feet. He went from 4 lbs to 1.5 but I fed him Gerber babyfood on my finger every 3 hrs!! I never gave up and he has adrenal cancer,as well ! He's not in pain and loves his life although his spleen may get swollen at times making him uncomfortable! He is my 5th ferret and I would never-never- put him to sleep! He wants to live!

Ferrets are the sweetest pets ever.... I've had ferrets since 2000, currently own 5, but have owned a total of 9 (including the 5 now). It's very tuff to say goodbye, but always know that you gave them a great life full of love and good times. You can't give them a better gift. I know this was posted in 2007, but our pets, whatever species, always leave pawprints on our hearts that never leave us.

okay. this made me cry like crazy...i got two baby's for my eighteenth birthday that look identical to these two, and a few months after i got them the one that looked just like Spetter died. it was horrible, he was only six months old so he looked like the younger pictures of Spetter :[

I'm so sorry about spetter this video made me cry for spetter and also my ferret my ferret escaped and couldn't find him anywhere I searched and searched and shouted his name for hours but couldn't find shout any more cause I was full of tears I was so upset I cryed at night and I cryed at day I cryed for months and wished that I wake up one morning and find him sitting at my doorstep waiting for me but he never came bk :(

Ferrets are the sweetest pets ever.... I've had ferrets since 2000, currently own 5, but have owned a total of 9 (including the 5 now). It's very tuff to say goodbye, but always know that you gave them a great life full of love and good times. You can't give them a better gift. I know this was posted in 2007, but our pets, whatever species, always leave pawprints on our hearts that never leave us.

Lemme guess..... Adrenal gland (cortex) cancer. That's what mine died of.... I wept like a baby. At 40 years old, I wept. She was my friend and we were really close. 5 years later, I still miss her and think of her.... Sorry for your loss... Believe me, I understand.... :-( sniff....

okay. this made me cry like crazy...i got two baby's for my eighteenth birthday that look identical to these two, and a few months after i got them the one that looked just like Spetter died. it was horrible, he was only six months old so he looked like the younger pictures of Spetter :[

The first picture, I cried my eyes out. spetter looks like the ferret I just lost in december from cancer, I had her since 2nd grade & I'm in 7th. the other one looked like the baby I had that grew up with the one that had cancer, she died 2 weeks later after the first one, we believe from heartbreak, she stopped eating & being active right after the one with cancer died. R.I.P. Kumi, Bindi, & Spetter.<3 ):

I lost my Siam to cancer too, about 5 months ago. She had gone cancer free for 2 years, but within a week, she was gone.
She was eating and drinking, but not enough, her back legs would give out on her, and she would just slide down on the floor.
It's always so hard to lose one.....but I wouldn't not have one in my life for the world.
