Watching this clip brought tears to my eyes as it reminded me of old memories and my childlhood (10). Thank you for sharing this clip with me. Peace to you
I'm Azeri, so as an Iranian Turk it is very emotional and sad to see how the situation was before the revolution where another turkic cousin could come and sing such a beautiful song in Iran, how it was open back then in the 70's but so closed now in 2009.
Oh how I miss those pre-islamic days when Iran was a land of hope and respect. It's funny how every Iranian says "the mullahs" destroyed our country. I didn't see mullahs going on their rooftops screaming islamic slogans. The Iranian people asked for an islamic republic and the mullahs were only too happy to give it to them. Try to find the little courage you may have left inside your soul and accept responsibility for your destiny. Islam in general, not just the mullahs, has destroyed Iran
OMG.. it reminds me the golden days of Iran.. we fell in love with Ajda with this song... I just can't believe that how mullahs ran out the soul from our beautiful country.
Beautiful song that has been recorded in "Rangarang show " in Iran 1977-8 in this particular time and I believe Baris Manco have had this song as well. Love his Daglar Daglar.......!! such a nice days!
Hahahahah she is turkish and in iran tv without scarf. By the way when iran became a democracy even in Shah time . This is more funny than Ajda hahahah
Obiviously you know nothing about Iran, In Shah's time, poeple were free to choose, to wearing a scarf or not to that. Ajda pekkan en Emel sayen did came to Iran as a geust( I was 7 or 8 years old), so did Frank Sinatra, Boney M etc, etc. Well, we(Iranians) were once free just like so many other countrey in the world, but after 1979 the mullah's became to power. research more about Iran , If you want to put a correct comment about this beautiful country.
Sometimes it does such pain to hear or read those things, specially when you know how it really was before 1979 in Iran,..but as you said, it's better to not pay attention to these people.
I just red your comments about Iran and those beautiful days, I wasnt even born on that time but I heard a lot about how beautiful our country was. I just want to say Im very proud of you and good to see that someone still remember those days.
I think this was in the time there was freedom in Iran....if she would go now, shey would proabably have problems as a women to sing at the tv? without her hairs to be covered and the face?.....
Sorry it's not this song I was on about. It was viens dans ma vie

And, more on topic here, Ajda Pekkan was a fantastic performer. What a timeless beauty too.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Because of the mullahs you live with your honour and with your heads straight, instead of being ass-lickers.
Like Imam Hussain said: "I would rather die a bloody death, than live a life like a coward."
