Not yet on the paper, but gourds are notorious for bursting into flames. I did some art work with gourds a few years back and I think I prefer the paper to the gourd when working with a burning tool.
Nice. I absolutely love this type of experimentation. Specially when it is so layered. I mean; Natural art, natural products, natural subject, natural woman.
I still have very robust paper that I would absolutely would love to attack with a hot iron. ;^) Thanks for reminding me.

Boiling yellow onion skins gives a wonderful yellow color and beat juice a nice red to pink. Great project. I LOVE your pine cone. Great job!!!
