  • what size are the wheels and tires?

  • I tell you what... My 04 6.0 when she was stock outran every lightly modified 7.3... Now with a lift and chip without egr delete or studs so I don't run her above lvl 4 and she will out run some of the heavier modified 7.3 around here... Obviously not some of the ones that have absolutely everything done but 0-60 is hovering around 8 seconds and thatll beat most of the ricers around here and to repeat myself 99% of the 7.3s around here!

  • Wonder what kind of milage you would get with 200 and some cc injectors lol

  • where about maryland are you?

  • One badass truck!!! Id put a cummins in it tho...

  • nice truck, Nicely done. I dont know whats wrong with all these people on here, 7.3, 6.0, 6.4, and now the 6.7 are all good motors if you know how to make them good. 7.3 good all around, 6.0 needs some tweaks but is a solid motor, 6.4 awesome new motor and its NOT a twin turbo, theres only one turbo people need to research that, and the new 6.7 ive heard is good but I dont know personally.

  • @firefighterfreak25 I will agree that the powerstroke line is a great line of motors. The 7.3 plant was indestructible, the 6.0 was designed well but the main problem was ford's additions to appease the EPA. Ford also used a different injector than what International recommended on 03 and 04's. I think you are mistaken on the 6.4l it does use a dual sequential turbo set-up. The smaller non wastegated turbo feeds into a larger Variable Geometry Turbo. Not a Twin but a Compound setup.

  • i really think 6.0l was a damn good motor espeacialy if you spent the money and put aftermarket exhaust and ram air and high ram air and a techni cooler i never had a problem with the one i had

  • @oney135 Thank you so much for saying this...I own a 7.3 but i have strong faith in the 6.0...everyone just likes to jump on the bandwagon and say that the 6.0 is garbage but truth is with well placed mods or even in stock form they can outrun 7.3's no problem

  • Would it be a bad idea to chip my stock 2003 f250 6.0L? will it blow the gaskets?

  • Before the race engine when it ran 11.5 @ 116 on fuel, was that still with the 200cc injectors?

  • Is that truck even street legal...it's nice.

  • International makes diesel engines for Ford right?

  • The 7.3's are frickin knock boxes

  • Just to let you know that exhaust is a tiny bit louder than your voice...I still don't know what that tank does...

  • cool, now lets see it running tens then i'll be impressed. Cuz im not impressed with your rims.

  • @mellenjuice them rims are pretty gay. never seen a 6.oh put down 1000 hp either...

  • Sick truck!! I want my 03 6.0L PSD truck to be more like this truck! I need more money though..

Innovative does some awesome stuff for sure!

  • @Xx69roadrunnerxX Your first investment with the 2003 6.0 should be headstuds if you didn't already do that.

  • Haha, yes I very much do know that. I do appreciate you saying it though. I try to tell as many people as I can. I need heads studs and a full EGR delete ASAP. Right after a straight pipe exhaust.

  • damn that thing is gorgeous!

  • Late November, 2009... Eric Eldruth (Innovative Diesel Performance) ran this truck on a 1/4 mile drag strip near the IDP shop to a time of10.88 @ 128 MPH. This is on his Innovative engine tune set up for the stock engine. The new engine is internally ballanced, heads ported, and many of Eric's patented enhancements. If your looking for maximum 6.0L power, contact Innovative Diesel Performance.

  • LOL your twin turbo tuarus wont go anywhere without fuel will it... thank you

  • This truck, as you see it here... is no more. It has a new race engine built and in it, and is expected to dyno this spring at over 1,000 HP. Maybe over 1,100 HP at the wheels. Keep watching Eric at Innovative Diesel Performance in both his Ford and his Dodge, he is out to impress with power!

  • the only reason cummins and duramax r faster is because powerstroke is a heavy fucking engine but u gotta love those 6.0 there the best

  • i don't konw what your on but last time i checked all deisels are pretty freekin heavy

  • ummm 6.0 is the worst engines ford made dude im not tryin to start shit but i know for a fact the 7.3 was there best motor out there and the newer 6.4 are awesome so far but well see they have only been out for like 2 and a half years but ask any for driver and theyll tell ya man 7.3s are the best disel engine ever made by ford.

  • i no but its faster and u have to fix the headgasket

  • The problem with your statement is the FACT that the 6.4L Powerstroke is a bored and stroked 6.0L powerstroke with twin turbo set up and 2010 California legal emmissions.

  • has your fuel milage gone down from all that extra fuel?

  • @RM250D8rzr did you miss the 250cc injector part? or that its hazing at idle? or that is should be over 1000 hp? yeah it went down a tad. :)

  • @fordpowerf450 hahah but how much>?

  • @RM250D8rzr depends just on the freway crusin? not much mashin it alot or draggin or dynoin a few mpgs. :)

  • @HiPerformanceDiesel dude their is no comparison with a 6.0 and 6.4. the 6.4 has a thicker block. different design, common rail. ect ect. it is not the same motor tho! AND THE 6.0 ISNT GARBAGE! its not the best but it can be a good motor still.

  • ford didnt make the 6.0, 7.3 or 6.4. They are made by navistar international.

  • the early 6.0's were crappy but they fixed the problems and the 05 and 06 6.0l were great

  • @crunksnizait Correction: Ford didn't make the 7.3, 6.0, or the 6.4. They are all product engines of Navistar International.

  • @crunksnizait 6.0l was better than 7.3l i had both my 6.0l had better fuel economy and more power

  • Fuel does not equal power - efficient tuning = economical power.

  • oh my god you are stupid. Fuel has alot to do with power, let's say this guy get's a garden size hose for his fuel line, aswell as other stuff to make up for the upgrade, then he is burning more fuel. that wasn't a great example but I hope you get my point ricer

  • RICER?!?! You do not understand automotive engineering. Obviously, some automakers have succeeded at making cars that get better fuel economy and make more power than competing cars. The perfect example is the new Taurus SHO. If you don't understand this basic idea, I don't know what else I can say.

  • NICE PICKUP, IM LIKING IT

  • you have no choice , you have a 6 cylinder

  • i hope your not talking bout this truck

  • yeah but cummins 24v, you must have spent a lot of money on it

  • I'm not sure if Eric has electric fans or not. That might be something to try since this truck is more of a toy than a driver. Last time I saw Eric he was driving a twin turbo truck every day as well as a Diesel VW that he modded, and this Ford was in the shop being worked on when he had time.

    Larry

  • try some after market electric cooling fans

  • nice rockstars

  • Who has a lifted truck? Eric, Do you see a lifted truck? This is a stock Ford suspension with aftermarket wheels and tires that are more geared towards drag racing than mud bogging.

    Larry

  • what is the point of lifting a truck if your going to have small tires? kinda defeats the point doesn't it? or is there something to it??

  • lol dumbass it's stock suspension

  • lmao, someone had to make a stupid comment about that. then others can make themselves feel better by putting down the guy. LOL was just bored out of my mind xD.

  • Update: 11.5@116 on fuel only with the new turbo's. Shooting for better times this week.

  • rock stars baby!!!!

  • OMG!!!!

    its a short bed !!!!

  • Oh yea, it's already been done more than once! ;-)

  • those are some tiny ass tires for that big ass truck!

  • pretty serious truck man, i like it alot, keep up the great work

  • Very sweet truck though! No other diesel sounds as good as a 6.0, it seems the duramax sounds just like a 7.3 which isn't bad but not that shriek the 6.0 makes when it spools up :) Do the 6.4s sound like a 6.0 with open exhaust?

  • No i dont think so thwy've got that bi-turbo system on them so i'm sure they'll sound different. I've never heared one.

  • yeah they do sound a lil different but not that much they turbo sounds like a train whistle or the tone does anyways dad has one but its in the shop pushed too much boost and melted a piston and blew a head...66 lbs of boost

  • if he melted a piston then his EGTs are wayyyyy too high for wayyyyy too long, aka get some bigger turbos :-D and strong head studs lol

  • At idle a diesel has way more air flowing through it than it needs. The smoke at idle might be the larger holes in the injectors spraying droplets at idle. If it was too much fuel it wouldn't be idling.

  • Hey I installed that nitrous and intercooler lol.

  • is this marty? i installed this with you haha

  • haha yup that's me.

  • With a single stage of n20, the truck ran 12.2@113mph. This is with the stock transmission and stock turbo. We'll shoot for 11's on a stock trans next week. Later, we'll see how far the 200cc injectors will take us with a built transmission and slightly upgraded turbo.

  • Do you think you could make a crew cab 6.0 run pretty close to the same time, with the same setup :)?

  • Updated information from Eric at Innovative:

This truck ran 12.2 in the quarter mile with just the first stage of NEXPRESS.

Total mods: 200cc Injectors, EGR Delete, ARP Head Studs, Innovative Xtreme, FASS 150/180 fuel system with the ITP regulated return system.
