@djc2232 maybe a little bit but it was worth it just for the sound increase. It made a huge difference in the engine sound, not really loud but i got on it i could tell a big difference.

What did you do to increase the horsepower on your 3.0 besides the cold air intake?

I have a 2004 Ranger with a 3.0 and I'm about ready to put a 4.0 in it if I can't find any way to increase the power on the 3.0.

@kentuckyboi777 if i would've planned on keeping the truck i would have looked into supercharging it. I never saw a kit anywhere but there's lots of stuff out there. . the 3.0 doesn't have too much power, but its a strong engine and i wouldnt hesitate to supercharge it.

wow is this my truck lol same engine same year same color same tail lights same head lights except i got mine used yesterday lol its my first truck i love it just the grill is a different one and the chrome is starting to peel im gonna get a stock chrome 1 its not peeling bad but its starting to crack but i love my truck

@Stevey69able It was about 200 for everything and the install. . the muffler was 60 and the tips were 80.

dont get me wrong here guys i like my 93 ranger supercab and all the other years too ii still say ford would of really had somthing if they'd threw the option out there for a v8 ranger from the factory iv always thought of it as the ranger ford should of built sweet looking truck !
