just got back from my first ever trip to Cedar Point.

TTD scared me shitless, so much so that my shit was too scared to shit itself out.

But seriously, it is a phenomenal ride, and I can't imagine KK would have scared me as bad with its OTSR's versus TTD's lapbar restraint.

As soon as we started cresting the top, I was floating off the seat until we we facing straight down again . . . I hung on for dear life, feeling myself floating a good 3 or 4 seconds

You guys need to understand that Top Thrill Dragster and Kingda Ka are the SAME RIDE!! MADE BY THE SAME PEOPLE!!! You are only fighting because there isn't a lot of these types of coasters around the world. Saying KK copied TTD is like saying Cedar Point copied Six Flags just because they both have B&M Inverted coasters. Or that because a bunch of parks have Hyper Coasters so all of them copied another park. Once a bunch of these rides get built know one will even care how many there are!

actually, kingda ka, is copied after the top thrill dragster.. if top thril dragster wasnt evented honey, niether would kingda ka. six flags obviously had to top cedar point cuz they couldnt face the well known fact that cedar point will and always has been the best even if six flags haas 18 now.. just got bk from cedar point todaay rode the dragster in front seat 3 times. best ever. my opinion btw, im not trying to put anyone down if they think this is better .

Even though Kingda Ka has an 18 foot higher drop and goes 8 miles faster, Top Thrill Dragster is TWICE as scary, due to the fact that you only have lap restraints, while Kingda Ka you feel very safe due to the over-the-shoulder harness. Plus, Kingda Ka is a complete rip off, so the original is better.

People are saying that this ride is better because it is taller and faster then the Top Thrill Dragster. But it's only taller by 36 feet, and faster by 8 mph. So really there's no difference (in my opinion). But a lot of people say that the TTD is better themed.

From a guy who went on the twice and by no means is a daredevil kingda ka is the biggest poser ride ever. What i mean by that is that the scariest part of this ride is when your waiting to shoot up into the sky.. the actual ride is so fast you dont feel anything except G force while going up. The ride that scares the shit outta me is El toro which doesnt seem that bad until you go on it. Your heart will Drop... multiple times ..
