they cant use auto tune live, there would be to much of a delay between the vox being sung and the vox that you hear

he wouldnt be able to use auto tune in a live show because its incredibly CPU reliant..... so if he was to have his vocals going through a computer with the auto tune software active his vocals would be delayed and wouldnt fit in with the rest of the song

you dont have to use a computer to use auto tune.. you can get it in software version or as a rack mount version.. and even so the amount of latency would be so tiny that you wouldnt be able to tell
