  • there was some kind of aircraft carrier zeppelin in 30s :)

  • @waddlerobloxxxx Actually there were 2.

  • @waddlerobloxxxx Yup, look up the USS Akron/Macon for the US Navy. (twin sisters) I volunteer at Moffett Fileld in Sunnyvale, California and look right at Hangar One which used to house the USS Macon, before she crashed and settled into the sea in 1935 (last US Rigid Zep)(sadly...)>;)

  • @waddlerobloxxxx thats right but they were'nt zeppelins

  • Can someone please translate this to English??

  • Haven't made a sparrowhawk in about 70 years.

  • so do it with a sparrowhawk....

  • Actually the Russians had done it before then with an old Tupolev TB3 bomber and 3 Polikarpov I16 fighters in the late 1930s.

  • Yeah the Curtiss SparrowHawk, In the early '50's they test flew a tiny Jet fighter called the Mcdonnall Goblin that would have been carried by the B-36 Bomber for defense. However, pilots had problems hooking back up to the bomber. it was never actually fitted to B-36. they used a B-29/B-50 for the tests. Just goes to show that ideas tend to resurface.

  • read the discription dick face

  • check out my biplane vid

  • They actually did have aircraft with a hook on the upper wing that docked but it was slow piston engine biplanes.
